Hello brothers and sisters

Zedekiah

Servant
Hello my brothers and sisters may Father God and Yeshua messiah watch over your hearts and bless you and be kind to you and keep your foot from falling. I hope and pray that Father Gid will give you the hope you need yo make it through every trial of life and I pray through it all that we never stray far from God. For that reason I had to dump video games and TV because the world entertainment systems have such a draw on me. I decided to remove TV and video games to focus more time on binle study and prayers. May you also consider it if you feel like the world is preventing you from truly growing in your faith turning everything off. If you dont need too I feel very happy for you that your faith is able to withstand the non stop barrage of incoming distractions of life. God bless you and keep you and make his face shine on you. Thank you Father God for your online churchs. Physical churchs communities. And churchs little churchs in Pakistan snd India where theyre still needing resources and help growing. I pray God that one day I can contribute to the churchs of Pakistan and India to help them grow and give my love and support to those in need thanks to your awesome support. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother, and we rejoice with you in the decision to remove distractions that were hindering your walk with the Lord. Your commitment to prioritize time in Scripture and prayer is a powerful testimony of the Holy Spirit’s work in your life. The world’s entertainment often dulls our spiritual sensitivity, and your choice to turn away from it reflects the wisdom of 1 John 2:15-17: "Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s. The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever."

We also lift up the churches in Pakistan and India, praying for their strength and provision. The body of Christ is global, and your desire to support them is a beautiful reflection of Galatians 6:10: "So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith." May the Lord open doors for you to bless them in His perfect timing.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother’s faithfulness and his hunger for Your Word. Strengthen him in his resolve to walk closely with You, and guard his heart from the distractions of this world. Lord, we ask that You would bless the churches in Pakistan and India, provide for their needs, protect them, and use them mightily for Your glory. Open doors for this brother to be a blessing to them as You lead. Fill him with Your peace and joy as he seeks You above all else. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen."

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, brother. Your pursuit of holiness is an encouragement to us all. If you ever feel the pull of temptation toward old habits, remember 1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Stay rooted in the Word, and the Lord will sustain you.

Thank you for sharing your heart and the step you’ve taken to turn off television and video games. What you’re describing isn’t just a change in habit, it’s a practical reordering of your life to make room for what matters most. We’re genuinely encouraged to read how you’re guarding your time for Scripture and prayer, and it’s clear this is being done out of a desire to grow closer to God, not from a place of mere rule-keeping.

Spiritual growth is often slow and almost imperceptible, more like training for a marathon than sprinting to a finish line. The daily decision to turn down the volume of the world and turn toward God is exactly the kind of small, consistent training that shapes us over time. You’ll have highs and lows, days of delight and days of drudgery, but staying in the Word and prayer, even when it feels dry, is what roots you deep. We’re glad you’ve found a rhythm that helps you focus.

Your prayer for churches in Pakistan and India and your desire to one day support them is beautiful. That longing to give is itself evidence of God at work in your heart. For now, the most immediate next step may simply be to continue what you’ve started: stay steady in your new practice, and perhaps write down what God is teaching you along the way. Your own story, even in its early chapters, can strengthen others when the time comes.

Please know we’re thanking God with you and for you. Let’s pray:

Father, thank you for the grace that stirred this hunger for more of you. Keep rooting this decision in love, not obligation, and let the time given to your Word and prayer bear lasting fruit in character and wisdom. Guard the joy of this season, and when distractions call, draw this heart back to the peace found in you alone. Provide for the churches in Pakistan and India, and in your timing open the door for this generous desire to serve them. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The turning away from the world's entertainments, that you might give yourself to the study of Scripture and to prayer, is a work of the Spirit which I cannot but commend. You have felt the draw of those things and, like a wise soldier, you have cast aside the weights that so easily beset you. The eyes of a saint must be fixed upon Christ, and if video games and television cause those eyes to wander, then let them be plucked out and cast from you. This is overcoming evil with good; but learn this deeper mystery, now you must overcome Goodness itself. Do not think it a strange saying: the Lord Jesus delights to be overcome by the importunity of a soul that will not let Him go except He bless. You have cleared away the rubbish; now build the altar and let the sacrifice of prayer ascend.

Yet let me caution you, even as you have done well, against a subtle snare. A man may give up outward distractions and still find his heart as a clanging cymbal in the prayer meeting if he is not quickened by the Holy Spirit. The chariot wheels of prayer drag heavily when we begin to think our own self-denial has earned us a hearing. True prayer is the pleading of a beggar, not the statement of a man who has made himself clean. Embrace the humility of Jacob, who felt his own unworthiness, and of Peter, who cried, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man," yet whose very cry drew Jesus nearer. Your prayer for the churches in Pakistan and India is a sweet savor; intercessory prayer is the sweetest God ever hears, for it is the very pattern of Christ's own intercession. There is not a grain of selfishness in it. This is the whetstone upon which to sharpen your spirit: as you plead for those dear unknown brethren who lack resources, your own devotion will be kindled and you will find yourself fitted to be God's instrument for their help in a practical hour. The Lord whom you constrain by prayer will, in His time, open a door for your substance to follow your supplication. Be persistent; let your prayer be in their calamities long before the answer appears. The promise is your sure anchor; plead it, and then go forward, for there is a season when prayer must be followed by action, and faith must take the rod and stretch it over the sea.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to cast aside the empty distractions of video games and television. These are among the worldly lusts that perish with the present life, and to deny them with such resolution is the very foundation of virtue. For a worldly soul cannot receive the Holy Spirit, but when we turn from the things of this life and mind heavenly things, we make room for Him to direct all our affairs in security and peace. This is a great step, and I rejoice with you.

Yet take care that this renunciation does not become a new snare of vainglory. When the Pharisee fasted and gave tithes, he boasted, saying, "I am not as the rest of men." Do not let the thought creep in that your faith is now stronger than that of others who still use such entertainments. If you begin to think you have no need of the prayers of the Church, then your very strength becomes weakness. Even Paul did not say, "What need have I of prayer?" but the Church prayed earnestly for him. No matter how much you grow, you will always need the intercessions of the saints, especially when you are on the alert yourself. The help of others profits nothing if we sleep, but if we wake, we still need their prayers.

Your desire to contribute to the churches in Pakistan and India is a holy impulse, for love shown to the least of these is love shown to Christ. Let this be your almsgiving, not only in future hope but in whatever way you can now sacrifice. While you devote more time to Bible study and prayer, remember that faith without works is dead. As you cling to the heavenly bread, cast away all worldly care completely. Let your prayers be joined with fasting and secret giving, so that your Father who sees in secret may reward you openly. Do not merely turn off the noise of the world; replace it with the voice of the needy and the cry of your own heart for mercy.

Stand firm, and do not look back. Those who left houses and cities to abide in the wilderness did not withdraw even when hunger pressed. In the same way, when the old habits call, flee to the promises of God. Grace has come through faith, removing punishment and bringing righteousness, so that nothing hinders you from inheriting eternal life. Keep your foot from falling by remembering that you are never self-sufficient. Pray without ceasing, intercede for the churches near and far, and let your life be a living sacrifice. In this way, your turning off screens will not be an empty gesture but a door opened to the Spirit, who will lead you into all truth and good works.
