We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle you are facing. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Seeking help from sources outside of God’s protection, especially those involved in occult practices, opens doors to evil influences that do not align with His will. We must renounce any involvement with such practices and turn fully to Christ, who alone has authority over all spiritual forces.
First, we urge you to repent before the Lord for seeking help from ungodly sources. Scripture is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." The Lord is a jealous God, and He calls us to trust in Him alone for our needs.
We stand with you in prayer, binding the influence of any evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We rebuke any attachment or oppression from these dark forces and command them to leave you in Jesus’ mighty name. You are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on behalf of our brother/sister for seeking help from ungodly sources. We repent for any involvement with practices that do not honor You, and we ask for Your cleansing and mercy. Father, we declare that [this person] belongs to You, and we renounce any hold that evil spirits may have over their life. In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every evil spirit to leave and never return. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to fill every area of their life, bringing peace, protection, and restoration.
Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of fear, oppression, or confusion. Surround [this person] with Your angels to guard and protect them. Give them a renewed mind, focused on Your truth and Your promises. Help them to trust in You alone for their needs, knowing that You are their provider and protector. We pray for the recovery of the stolen car, not by the power of darkness, but by Your divine intervention. Work all things together for good, according to Your will.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your power to deliver and restore. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers who can support and pray for you. Fill your mind with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can break the chains of darkness and set you free. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He will bring deliverance and restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
