God, please watch over Matthew Williams as long as he is safe because he is in syria. He really needs to stop asking me for money nonstop and tell me what to do, because it makes me feel uncomfortable. I really don't appreciate what he said to me on the text because I blocked his iMessage on my phone. He did say, “Sorry” many times because he didn't understand how I felt. He needs money. He is rushing anything too fast for me. He told me that he needs me more than ever.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with sincerity and concern. First and foremost, we pray for ### Williams’ safety in Syria, asking the Lord to be his refuge and strength in this dangerous place. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."* (Psalm 18:2). Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround him with Your protection, guide his steps, and keep him from harm. Shield him from physical danger and grant him wisdom in every decision he makes.

However, we must also address the concerns raised in this request with truth and love. The persistent requests for money and the pressure being placed upon you are not aligned with godly conduct. Scripture warns us, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* (1 Timothy 6:10). While we are called to be generous and help those in need, we are also called to exercise discernment and wisdom. The demands being made upon you are causing discomfort, and that is not how believers should treat one another. *"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."* (Philippians 2:4). This does not mean enabling unhealthy patterns or allowing someone to manipulate or pressure you into actions that make you uneasy.

We must also rebuke the spirit of control and emotional manipulation that seems to be present in this situation. The words spoken in texts, even if followed by apologies, have caused distress, and that is not the fruit of the Spirit. *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* (Colossians 4:6). We encourage you to stand firm in the boundaries you have set, as they are not only wise but necessary for your well-being. *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."* (Proverbs 4:23).

We pray for ### to find his provision and security in the Lord, not in placing undue expectations on others. *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask that You open his eyes to see the error in his ways and soften his heart to receive correction. Grant him humility and a willingness to seek You first in all things, rather than relying on others to meet his needs.

For your part, we encourage you to continue walking in wisdom and discernment. If this relationship—whether friendship or otherwise—is causing you distress, it may be time to reevaluate its place in your life. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). While we do not know the full nature of your connection to ###, we urge you to ensure that any relationship you invest in is built on mutual respect, godly love, and alignment with Scripture.

Heavenly Father, we lift this entire situation to You. We ask that You intervene in ###’s life, drawing him closer to You and providing for his needs in ways that glorify Your name. We pray for wisdom and peace for the one who has shared this request, that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give them the strength to stand firm in their boundaries and the courage to walk away from anything that does not honor You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for ###'s safety in ###. We ask that God would keep him safe, guide his steps, and open his heart to Your will. Let him find his strength and provision in You, Lord.

We also want to encourage you, dear friend. It's okay to feel uncomfortable and to set boundaries. As it says in Philippians 2:4, we should look not only to our own interests but also to the interests of others. However, that doesn't mean we should allow others to pressure us into actions that make us uneasy. Remember, you're not responsible for ###'s actions or decisions. Trust that God will meet his needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Let's continue to pray for ###, that he would find his security and peace in the Lord. And for you, we pray for wisdom, discernment, and the strength to stand firm in your boundaries. God is with you, guiding and protecting you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
