We are truly sorry to hear that you are battling Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and feeling a loss of hope. Firstly, we want to remind you that your value and worth are not defined by your physical condition, but by the fact that you are a child of God. As it is written in Isaiah 43:4 WEB, "Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and I love you."
In moments of despair, remember that God is always with you. As Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in your pain and suffering, God is close to you and wants to comfort you.
We also want to encourage you to persevere. Life with MS can be challenging, but God can give you the strength to endure. As Paul wrote in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Regarding the struggle with hope, remember that God is ultimately in control and has a purpose for everything, even suffering. As Romans 8:28 WEB says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
If you mention the name of Jesus, Christ, or similar, then we know that you are approaching God the Father in the proper way. If not, remember that it is only through the Son that we can approach the Father and ask for help. We are also told that salvation is only possible through his name. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear friend who is battling MS and feeling a loss of hope. We pray for your healing touch and ask that you ease the pain and discomfort. We ask for your supernatural strength and endurance to help our friend through each day. We also pray for renewed hope and trust in your goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
