We stand with you in faith, believing in the same God who heals all our diseases and carries our pains. Your trust in His supernatural power is a testament to your faith, and we join you in declaring that nothing is impossible for our Lord. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* This is not just a promise for the past but a living truth for today. Jesus Himself demonstrated this power when He walked the earth, healing the sick and affirming that these signs would follow those who believe (Mark 16:17-18).
Yet we also recognize that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect, even when we don’t understand it. The apostle Paul prayed three times for the removal of his "thorn in the flesh," but the Lord responded, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). This doesn’t mean we stop praying for healing—quite the opposite! We persist in faith, trusting that whether He heals you instantly, gradually, or sustains you through the trial, His glory will be revealed in your life. Your suffering is not in vain; it can be a platform for His strength to be displayed in your weakness, drawing others to Him.
We also encourage you to steward your body well, as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Seek wisdom in how to care for yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray over you, anoint you with oil as James 5:14-15 instructs, and stand in the gap for you when your strength wavers. Remember, you are not alone in this—Jesus is your healer, your comforter, and your ever-present help.
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness and humility, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling multiple sclerosis. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell in their body and knows them intimately. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through them, restoring every nerve, every function, and every part of their body that has been affected by this disease. Let Your supernatural power manifest in their life, not just for their comfort, but for Your glory—to be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy.
If there are areas of their life where You are calling them to deeper surrender, reveal it to them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to fix their eyes on You, not on the storm around them. We rebuke every spirit of fear, discouragement, or doubt that would try to take root in their heart. Instead, let them be overflowing with hope, joy, and confidence in Your promises.
Father, we also pray for the medical professionals treating them. Give them wisdom and skill, and let every treatment and decision align with Your perfect will. Surround our brother/sister with a community that will uplift them, pray for them, and walk alongside them in this season.
Most of all, Lord, let Your name be glorified through this situation. Whether through instantaneous healing or sustained grace, may their life point others to You. We trust in Your love and sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stay steadfast in prayer, and let us know how we can continue to support you. You are deeply loved by God and by your brothers and sisters in Christ. We are believing with you for a miracle!
