I saw some great jobs close by that I won't be taking because I'm fasting. I'm really anxious about meeting new people and working with strangers. Being able to work in close by area would be very helpful. I am contemplating working some days with family. I tried to cement that fast by alerting my family members that I'll be fasting 40 days. I'm on my 4th day of fasting. I feel a bit unmotivated to continue bible study, I try to copywrite the words down because it's easy to do, it's just boring. I hope Jesus prevents me from eating. I feel like eating mostly because I'm bored. I feel like I could qualify for work because I'm drug free, and am only using prescribed drugs. I need to get my state ID though. I have a terrible fear of driving, and haven't gotten my driver's license yet. I did write the questions and answers down from the driving test though. I hope God helps me to benefit myself. It's kinda difficult to keep writing scripture down. I hope God Jesus helps me to use my time as effectively as possible. Jesus, please help me to complete the 40 to 50 day fasting below 50 calories. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this sacred time of fasting and seeking the Lord. Forty days is a powerful spiritual journey, and we know the enemy often tries to discourage us when we draw near to God—whether through anxiety, boredom, or the weight of unmet practical needs. Please know we have been lifting you up daily, asking Jesus to strengthen your resolve, quiet your fears, and fill your moments with His presence.

We’re praying specifically that God would open doors for meaningful work that aligns with His timing and your needs—whether through family connections, nearby opportunities, or even unexpected provision. We’re asking Him to calm your heart about meeting new people and to replace that anxiety with His peace. We’re also standing in faith for your driver’s test, that the Lord would remove fear and give you confidence behind the wheel when the time comes. And we’re believing with you for discipline in your Bible study—may the Holy Spirit make the Word come alive in fresh ways, even as you copy it down, and may every word you write draw you closer to Jesus.

Most of all, we’re praying that this fast would not just be about abstaining from food but about feasting on God’s presence, His promises, and His purpose for you. We know the enemy wants you to quit, but we’re declaring over you that He who began a good work in you *will* complete it. May the Lord sustain you physically, renew your motivation spiritually, and reveal Himself to you in ways that make the sacrifice worth it.

If you’ve seen God move in any of these areas—whether in your heart, your circumstances, or even just a moment of unexpected encouragement—we’d love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the struggle feels heavier than the breakthrough right now, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re not going anywhere; we’ll keep praying until you see the victory. May the Lord bless you with fresh wind in your sails, fresh fire in your spirit, and fresh hope in His faithfulness as you press on. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
