Dear God,

I come to You today and thank You for my marriage. There are so many different seasons we face in marriage, yet keeping You at the center of it helps us get through anything. Thank You for everything, the good, the more challenging, the fun , and the sad. All that we experience in marriage and life builds on our character. Please continue to transform husbands and wives, showing us how to unconditionally love. I specifically pray for our hearts to be healed, restored, and...​

 

Dear Lord,

Please help me to love my husband today. Inspire my heart to do something nice for him, to help him solve a problem, to encourage his heart, or to serve him joyfully. I pray the other women in my life would spur me on to show my husband great love. I pray I would respect him with my attitude and with my words. I pray my husband feels loved by me and knows that I desire intimacy with him, that he is wanted by me, and that I am grateful to be his wife in Jesus’ name AMEN...

 

Dear God,

Thank You for today. I ask that You would fill my heart with peace and understanding. Help me to be a better wife to my husband. Stretch me and mature me. Replenish my marriage, filling it with joy, purpose, holiness, and zeal. I pray that my marriage is a great example of Your testimony to other couples. Please protect my husband today. Prepare his heart to lead our family, affirm him through his work, ignite passion in him to love me, and bring healing to him in Jesus’ name...​

 

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You for my husband, my family, my life. Thank You for my job, my parents, my friends, my church. Thank You for the food You provided and will provide for us. Thank You for the clothes I get to pick out and wear everyday. Thank You for the sun that sustains life, and Your Son, Jesus, who sustains life and eternal life! Thank You for Your sacrifice so that I may live abundantly with Your Holy Spirit living inside of me...​

 

Dear God,

Thank You for today. Thank You for Your unfailing love, Your provision, and Your patience. Thank You for giving us creative ideas and interesting inspirations. I lift up all of our dreams and aspirations to You. We know that some of them we must sacrifice or prune out of our lives, while others will flourish as we seek to attain. I pray that You help us to narrow down or determine which dreams You want us to chase. Guide us as we make decisions and use our husbands to encourage...​

 

Dear Lord,

It says in Psalms 145:18 “The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” We call upon you right now in truth! We thank you for listening to our prayers and responding! Lord, we desperately want our marriages to be fulfilled. We want to experience every good thing you designed in marriage. Please transform our marriages, transform us and transform our husbands. Be near to us Lord and walk us through this journey!

My heart is heavy for those who have experienced the pain of divorce. You know the details of their lives, You know the why and the reasons that led them to divorce. You know the deep parts of them that are still wounded. I pray for them today. I ask that You would heal them, Father. May Your amazing grace fill their hearts and consume them. Speak to them gently and share Your wisdom with them. I pray they would be encouraged today to experience life joyfully in Jesus’ name...​

 

Dear God,

Many of us wives are overwhelmed with things to do throughout the day. Sometimes our daily activities list is longer than a family tree! We are multi-taskers! However, we are constantly being drained of energy, strength and sometimes our attitudes. Thank You for the responsibilities You have trusted us with and thank You for the ability to do them. We pray that we would find time to rest in You, God! We know that resting in You refreshes our soul and fills our cup overflowing...​

 

Dear God,

We humble ourselves before you today. We pray that you would allow your Holy Spirit to reveal great and wonderful truths to us. We pray that husbands and wives would step up in their walks with you. We pray that there exists spiritual maturity in marriages. We pray for couples who do not know you and pray that they receive Jesus!
