1.“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.†(Galatians 3:29) 2.“If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.†(Exodus 15:26) 3.“And the Lord will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.†(Deuteronomy 7:15) 4.“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of...
I have read the bible from front to back at least 5 times in the last 3 years. One thing is certain, God is very concerned about how you live your life, which depends on what you believe - which is doctrine. You need to take a look around the web & see the corruption of the gospel. Nothing stays the same, that is the problem. Corruption always leads to more deterioration until nothing but refuse remains. It is impossible to take the leg of holy living out of the gospel & not have what we see today, a growing number of prominent Calvinist who believe in universalism. Have you read the waring of Jude, contend for the faith which was handed down to us?? Have you read the short admonition of Paul to Titus, 'these mouths must be...
It is amazing to see the tone of the bible concerning how we live our lives in obedience to God & what is heard today. Let's start with the language & actions of the writers of the New Testament. Jesus, God in the flesh, comes down to preach??!! Amazing, God comes in the flesh to give a sermon here on a mountain, there by a smelly fishing dock swarming with flies, on some dusty road.. What is this? Could there be something so important? Let's see, the whole world is condemned to eternal hell & he has come to show us the way to life. He has come to repair the damaged relationship between God & fallen man. His first words, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near". So, apparently another Kingdom will replace this fallen regime. We...

Before one can correctly understand the work of the Holy Spirit, he must first of all know the Spirit himself. A frequent source of error and fanaticism about the work of the Holy Spirit is the attempt to study and understand His work without, first of all, coming to know Him as a person. It is of the highest importance from the standpoint of worship that we decide whether the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, worthy to receive our adoration, our faith, our love, and our entire surrender to Himself, or whether it is simply an influence emanating from God or a power or an illumination that God imparts to us. If the Holy Spirit is a person, and a Divine Person, and we do not know Him as such, then we are robbing a Divine Being of the...
I wanted to come to you, but I couldn't because tears were streaming down my face. I didn't want to be made fun of or turned away because I was crying, even though I was in need. Baby, I am physically and emotionally spent. I don't know how many times I can say it, but I could really use your help with Ava. Anytime I ask for anything, I feel like I'm some kind of burden, and I shouldn't feel that way when it comes to our daughter. I know that you worked in the yard today, and I do applaud you for that. The yard looks fannnntastic. I am appreciative for these things that we have, even though they require a little upkeep. But anyway, when I went to hand Ava over to you (for just a few minutes), you were reluctant, complaining that you had...
The forum software that this board uses is constantly being updated. One of the updates that will be coming will drop the separate use of avatars and photos. Instead, there will just be one 'photo'. This 'photo' can be a picture or image of some kind. The main difference is that the 'photo' will be used everywhere instead of having a separate avatar and a photo both being used in different places. It is probably for the best. It is somewhat hard to understand the difference between the two and where they are used. ------ Update: Feb 20, 2011 The Living Avatars have now been moved to the photo section of your profile. Any Living Avatars you created are still there and can now be used as your photo if you want. There are also some...
I highly encourage you to check out the show called Today's Faith on www.hischannel.com There are almost a dozen archived programs to choose from. Each is an interview by Cheryl Broderson with a friend who has a story to share. Each is very different, but each is encouraging and inspiring. They have gone through things like divorce, death of a spouse, financial ruin, troubled childhood, a whole variety of what we would consider earthly troubles. But each bears the same witness in the end, the Lord brought them or is bringing them through. This beats most anything your TV could have to offer! Here's a link to the most recent one I watched: http://www.hischanne.../2000/2036/.php Another thing that impresses me about these women is they...
I read a neat article published in American Thinker called "Who He Is" So beautiful and encouraging. Please take a look (changed the link to American Thinker. The previous one on Canada Free Press opened some irritating pop-ups): http://www.americant.../who_he_is.html And here are some of the wonderful scriptures it draws from. Glorious! Good News to ponder on this very special day. In the beginning was the Speech, and the Speech was with God, and the Speech was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things came into existence through him; and without him nothing came into existence. That which has come to exist in him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness...
