Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High (Psalm 50:14). What are you thankful for as it relates to the things God has done for you? Have you told God thank you for all He’s done in your life? When we go to God in prayer it’s easy to ask God for a million and one things but have you told Him thank you for all He’s already done? God’s word says to enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name (Psalm 100:4). I encourage you to give God thanks — praising Him; being thankful unto Him and blessing His name. Here’s my list of 8 things I’m thankful for: My Heavenly Father: The Bible says God demonstrated his love for us in this...
Lord, some people say I should be bitter, but I can't. What I've seen on the street and what my mom put me through, I am still maintaining as a good parent to mine, even if one is disabled. It had to be done, but I do it on my own. Lord, there are nights where I have to go to bed hungry to feed my son, but it's okay now that I know the things you do for your kids.
I wanted to share the praise report of my dad going home to be with Jesus. There was a battle for his soul, but my dad is now in the presence of the Lord. The following is the account of what happened...I want to encourage anyone with unsaved loved ones, don't ever allow the thought of their loved ones not being saved to take up residence in your thought life. On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, my dad went to be with the Lord, and this is the incredible story of his journey of death into life. My dad was 81 years old when he experienced his encounter with the Lord. It's such a wonderful story of God's amazing grace and faithfulness to keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day. I saw my parents on Thanksgiving at my...

selfish heart is the cause of broken relationship conflict and division and this will hinder the blessings of God in our life this is also the reason why our prayers can not be answered if you have conflict with somebody and you did not settle it conflict will always hunt you where ever you go whom ever you with, there is always conflict. If there is humility in a relationship or with in a group there is no conflict at all{Matt 5:24-25 reconciled first to our brother before offering our gift to God "be at peace with any one"
THE RESOLUTION PRAYER COVENANT "I do solemnly resolve before God to take full responsibility for myself, my wife, and my children. I WILL love them, protect them, serve them, and teach them the Word of God as the spiritual leader of my home. I WILL be faithful to my wife, to love and honor her, and be willing to lay down my life for her as Jesus Christ did for me. I WILL bless my children and teach them to love God with all of their hearts, all of their minds, and all of their strength. I WILL train them to honor authority and live responsibly. I WILL confront evil, pursue justice, and love mercy. I WILL pray for others and treat them with kindness, respect, and compassion. I WILL work diligently to provide for the needs of my...
GRACE IS THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! By Bibleman TWO VIEWS OF GOD’s GRACE Most Christians today hold to one of two views about the grace of God. Because of a serious misunderstanding of God’s word we have these two opposing views about grace. Which view is Biblical and which is not? The purpose of this study is to discover the truth about which one of these views is the Biblically correct position and how harmful it is to believe in error concerning the important subject of grace. It is of utmost importance that we understand which view allows us to be justified before God. LIBERTINISM The first view we will discuss is called libertinism. It is based on Calvinistic doctrine. It suggests that the free gift of grace will save a...
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (1 John 1:5-7 ) Have you ever heard anyone reply "Hey..it is private, I would rather not go there..." Well...I believe the Bible declares that in our lives as believers there should be NO SUCH area. We should be honest with each other, especially in the dark areas that we would rather not mention. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not...
This is part of a teaching given by Pastor ### of www.neckministries.com on "Becoming Love" There's so much talk about love in the body of Christ and we know God is love and we're called to just not be love but to become love. But you and I don't have the ability to look at somebody and make our self see their value. We don't have the ability to see someone hurting and just care like God cares without the help of God. But what we do have is the ability to yield our heart to him and say, "I want your heart to possess me." See you can't effectively, seriously, you can't effectively, like God wants to, you can't effectively intercede for your city without loving your city and the people of it. You can't pray for your city cause...
