Matthew 18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. I was meditating on this verse, the above verse is the base for forgiveness. If you observe , there are three things Compassion Loosing Forgiving Compassion We must choose to forgive those who have done us wrong . Jesus When he was on the cross .. he chose to forgive the people, who put him in the cross ,and his words were "Father, forgive them!" . In a similar way we need to have compassion on others and forgive them Loosing We need to loose the person who has sinned against us. We should not hold on that. Release those hurts and pains and give into the hands of Jesus 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon...
I am getting ready to leave for Cincinnati for a funeral for a 25 year old that overdosed. This has become all to common in that generation. Heroin is wiping out an entire generation it seems. I am praying for the family of the victim. I pray that the are lead to The Lord to seek comfort strength and peace. I pray if The Lord needs me He will give me His heart, eyes, ears, and words. I pray I walk in His strength. Lord I ask You to powerfully come into this world of drugs, death, and evil. Lord lead all to You, Lord set these addicts free. Thank You Jesus Amen

This is a mind-science study of why certain paradigms work and why others don't according to the Bible. If you have some habitual sin, or addiction, this is a good blog to read. Before I concluded these reflections with Father God, I was restrained from searching Him out for fear of being guilty of unholy motivation. So I was reading: James 4:6-7 "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Therefore submit to God. I thought I can't submit to God unless I'm motivated enough to do it. That's easy enough to understand. But there's a double-mindedness to my spirituality that I had to address there (James 1:7-8). If I left it at that I wasn't addressing the root issue, so I continued to the root motivation so I could have a...
Today's post is more about me seeking The Lords will on Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage, and Parenting. This has been in my thoughts for months. I have not written about it because I have no revelation on it. Recently events have made it so strong on my mind I believe some light will be shed on it. This again will be more like a journal entry and may not have any organization to it. My mother was married to my biological father until I was two. The story goes he was a wonderful man until he went to Vietnam, but when he returned he was profoundly changed. That is when he began using drugs and alcohol, and feeding a raging sex addiction. At the age of five she married another man, that later adopted me as his own. This marriage was full of...
Acts 1:6-8 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?†I have a great feeling of The Lords Awesome power when I go to church and the sermon speaks directly to a situation I am in. Over the week end I have had the great privilege of spending some time really getting to know some children in the youth program at church. I know some of their stories from their parents, but hearing from the children themselves is overwhelming. The issues these 9 children have experienced in the past and are currently dealing with: reoccurring abandonment from parents, sexual abuse, parental mental health issues, adultery, loosing a parent to death, almost loosing a parent to death...
This has been an interesting two days, a great opportunity to seek Gods wisdom, forgiveness, and mercy. For about two weeks I have really been into studying Genesis. The phrase "I am a sinner in need of a savior" has really been strong on my heart. Some questions I have been seeking answers to are: Why did God put the tree of wisdom in the garden in the first place?, Why did Eve eat the apple? She was given one command and she broke it! Listening to a teaching on Genesis, the speaker said something to the affect of; If you don't think you would have eaten the apple, or you don't think you could have pulled the trigger at one of the school shootings, you are missing a very profound point. Pride has been clouding the Truth. Still in a...
Genesis 1 3 And God said, “Let there be light,†and there was light. 6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.†9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.†11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.†14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.†24 And God...
