THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU! He shall say: "Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them. For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." Deuteronomy 20:3-4 Are you tired of the turmoil in your life? Are you tired of all the marriage problems that you are facing today? Are you ready to throw in the towel and give up on your marriage being restored, since the circumstances seem impossible? Do not be afraid. Do not walk and live in fear, but trust your Lord to fight against your enemies which will give you victory in your marriage in God's perfect timing. We often...
"WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?" What can God do for you today? Your answer might have been formed before you even finished reading that sentence: "Bring my spouse home." If you were in the presence of our Lord God and He asked that question, would you really first ask for the physical return of your mate? God wants to do so much more for you: A) God wants to hold you - Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. Psalm 73:23 B) God wants to help you - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 C) God wants to hear you - "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear."...
Double-Mindedness or the Mind of Christ? I recently watched the movie “Silver Linings.†I’m not really sure why I did and would NOT recommend it to anyone standing for marriage restoration. But I did and God used a silly Hollywood movie to teach me something. In the movie, Patrick (Bradley Cooper) discovers his wife is having an affair and ends up in a mental hospital. When he gets out he makes a deal with Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence) to be her partner in a dance competition in exchange for her delivering a letter to his wife who has a restraining order against him. Patrick wears his ring and keeps telling everyone he is married. Sound familiar standers? In the end he gets his moment with his wife that he had been working toward...
Today I am a one step closer to an answered prayer. I cannot say what it is because I do not want any demonic interference. (Ephesians 6:12 for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.) This is very evident when I pray more, for instant I am sicker then i have been in a while, I am more worried about my sister Debra and my mother more then usual,my dreams are far from being pleasant and my emotions are beyond fragile and all started about Monday, when I remember what Jesus said about persistent prayer Luke 18:1-5( 18 Then Yeshua told his talmidim a parable, in order to impress on them that...
PRAY FOR SOULS TO BE CHANGED FOREVER! "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." 2 Timothy 2:19 Will you start preparing your heart to worship your Lord Jesus Christ this Lord's Day? God receives you, just as you are. But then He wants to work in your life, to make you all that He desires you to be in the future. Ask the Lord today to show you if there is anything that needs to be removed or cleansed from your own personal life, such as any hidden sin. Ask the Lord to reveal to you if there is anyone you still have not truly forgiven. If you ask the Lord these questions, He will show you and cleanse you from any and all unrighteousness. Will you pray for your husband or wife to be set free from all...
Thanksgiving is upon us again. It's already almost here once more. How quickly time goes by. This is the time of year for us to reflect on God's faithfulness and all he has done for us. It helps us see how far we have come and how much we are blessed. I find when I focus on my blessings, it takes my mind away from the negative. It soothes my soul. We have the blessing of another day. We have the blessing of being able to come to this site. This site is a blessing in so many ways, we have others who pray for us and with us while we pray with and for others. WE can find friends on this site that we would otherwise, never know....people all over the world......Prayer is a blessing. The ability to have a conversation with our Heavenly...
PRODIGALS DO GO TO CHURCH! I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. Psalm 108:3-6 Are you praying every week that your beloved husband or wife will attend a church service? Do you pray that the Holy Spirit will speak the exact message that your beloved husband or wife as a prodigal needs to hear? We all need to pray every week and especially on the weekends. A pastor may change his sermon if the Holy Spirit speaks to their heart to say the...
Have You Started Rebuilding Your Home? By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4 Have you been having marriage problems for awhile? Has your home been falling apart by your spouse saying that they do not love you or they are not happy so they are going to get a divorce? Do not allow the words of the enemy to destroy you! Your spouse is living and acting by their emotions and feelings and are deceived by the enemy. Have you fallen into the trap of arguing and fighting or have you started crying out for God’s help in your marriage crisis? Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD: O LORD, hear my voice. Let your ears...
LORD, PROTECT MY REPUTATION & INTEGRITY A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1 How often do you say your name daily at work or at school or at a doctor's office? If you call anyone on the telephone, you must identify yourself with your name. Depending on where you work, you can call certain people and have leverage in your telephone call because of your name or your company's name. Around the world, we know the names of well-known people who are movie stars, singers, politicians, radio-show hosts, football players or well-known pastors or evangelists, but some of them do not have a good reputation. How is your memory with people's names? Can you remember your...
This is another article from the Faith and Marriage Ministries Website. I hope it blesses you as it has me. Scroggymommy5 Theresa Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage Since a lot of email and phone calls from visitors to the website and FAM Fellowship members concern questions regarding whether or not it’s okay to stand for a second or subsequent marriage, and specific answers to these questions MUST come to each of us from the Lord through serious Bible study and seeking His will through prayer and fasting, this page is provided to answer such questions only in general terms and its primary purpose is to address some of the things churches and Christian leaders teach and promote that are not supported by what the Bible actually says...
