Dear lovely sisters in Yeshua, When we give thought to our spiritual growth, we often discover it seldom runs parallel. At various seasons of our life we may travel in an upward trend or become a bit anemic in our walk with the Lord. God desires that His children continually grow in an upward trend, both in our faith and in our relationship with Him. Growth in our spiritual maturity is one of the most important foundations in the life of a believer and it takes effort on our part. This week we will be taking a refresher course by returning to the basics. I invite you to come along beside me on . . . A Journey To Spiritual Growth Spiritual growth is as essential to the life of a believer as physical growth is essential to the life of...
My dear sisters in the Lord, I believe it would be fair to say that each of us is able to look back on our lives and recall specific situations when God upheld us and sustained us. Women of faith have been blessed with the assurance of possessing . . . The Strong Arm Of God This week I feel compelled to share with my sisters the foundation of my unwavering faith, regardless of my external circumstances. Before I begin, please be assured that I have experienced as much loss, pain and suffering as anyone else. Most gratefully, and entirely by God’s grace and mercy, I have never been defeated. Why? When fear comes knocking on my heart’s door, the Lord whispers ever so softly, “Do not fear for I am with you.“ Isaiah 41:10...
Dear special sisters in Messiah, Each day in my personal prayer time, I sing praises unto the Lord, who called me out of spiritual darkness into His glorious light. This morning I have been led to share a message that truly resonates in my heart and pray that it blesses each of you . . . Behold The Beauty Of The Lord Our walk of faith rests entirely upon our experiencing a personal relationship with Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Yeshua did not come to give us another religion; He came to give us Himself. When this truth becomes deep seeded within our heart and spirit, we are well on our way to a life of discovering the beauty and wonder of God. As David proclaimed in Psalm 27:4, “One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall...
Dear special sisters in the Lord, One of the most powerful prayers that Paul prayed is found in Ephesians 1:15-19. Paul prayed for God to enlighten the eyes of the Ephesians’ hearts. In essence, Paul was praying for God to open their hearts to understanding. Verse 18 says, “I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you.†Sometimes we need to be reminded how often the Scriptures speak of God opening the hearts of men and women, calling us to respond to Him. This week I have been inspired to write a message that resonates in my own heart and pray that it will also speak to your heart: Open The Eyes Of My Heart Lord As God opens the eyes of our heart, we...
My dearest sisters in Messiah, There is no question that these days are filled with enduring stress all over the globe, politically, economically and socially. The sobering events we view and hear from the media continually infiltrate our minds. What about our personal struggles and trials? Understandably, we may not embrace being in the middle of them. Often, it is like being in the eye of the storm. But some things in life can only be learned on God-ordained field trips. That being said, I have been led to share a message this week on . . . Our Strength Is Found In God Alone Where does our help come from? For those of us who walk in faith with Yeshua, we already know that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth...
Do you know what it is to have a revelation about yourself on a stage in front of nearly 12,000 people? That’s what happened to me yesterday in The Love School Event at Wembley Arena. The class was going very well. Renato, as always, was doing great as a teacher. He is very intelligent and super funny, which breaks the ice and makes it fun. I feel good at his side because we work as a team; we always come up with examples (usually from our own experiences) that help our students understand the theory in a more practical way. Then, there was a moment in the class that, as the Brits say, the penny dropped; it clicked. Has it ever happened to you? Yeah, it happened to me in front of thousands of people. It was precisely at that time...
Hi all. I am feeling week. Here is the post for tonight. An old one but good one. Soo u all in the morning. Knowing God goes beyond what we think, see or feel. It is an inner knowledge of God that cannot be taken from us. When we have this inner knowledge, nothing outward can sway us from our belief in God. We no longer need evidence to protect our faith. We trust God just as much if He does not give us what we want as we do when He does. This is just a small paragraph from a Joyce Meyer devotional, but it's the one that stood out to me the most. Folks, this is what our stand is a...ll about. Knowing God. In order to have our marriages restored, we need to get to know the God that created marriage. We need to focus solely on Him. At...
Proverbs 31: 31 – Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates. People can talk and write about her but she’ll only be worthy of praise when she has finally touched your life… her own works will bring her praise. You can’t ever fully become this V-Woman if all you do is within your own reach. You may be a great mother, perfect wife, and extraordinary daughter, but if you don’t reach out to others outside your own little world, you’ll still be as ordinary as a woman can be. Let’s consider what the Lord Jesus said about this: “Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit...
Wait, wait… allow me explain this title before condemning me… In fact, some evangelicals should be more like Him whom they say they believe in when it comes to judging others. When an adulterous woman was brought to Jesus to be stoned, He did not condemn her. Bear in mind that she had been caught in adultery! It wasn’t even like the title above, which has an explanation… You who are a mother know that when your child is small, it’s you who make the rules. It’s the mother who chooses their clothes, their friends, who tells them when it’s time to go to bed, and even their haircut. I miss that time… When they grow up, everything changes automatically; and the worst thing is that sometimes it is not even your child who makes...
The Lord Jesus said that we are the light of the world, but unfortunately the world is increasingly more in darkness… Why, huh? Because those who have been the light of the world are hiding their light behind shyness, shame, being a certain way, problems, unfulfilled dreams, etc. This is the kind of light that makes almost no difference, like a candle. When you light a candle, you can only see clearly near the candle itself; but the atmosphere remains dark. You can only see what is essential. Unfortunately, most Christians today are like that candle, you can only see what is essential: good character and kindness, if that! A candle is so weak that you can even place your hand over its flame and not get burnt. So is this type of...
