Many people say "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus" and also suggest for others who are sick to say that. The issue I noticed with this is that we say so because we want to think of it that way, but by doing so we don't keep this sentence in context. Let me explain. "DOES MY PRODIGAL HURT AS MUCH AS I DO?" This morning I woke up with a backache. Someone awoke with a toothache. We both are hurting right now, but in different ways.
