In the deep anguish of my soul, I call to You and You are there. I may be just a speck of nothing in all of existence, and yet You listen to my cries. I have nothing to offer You except for a willing heart, because nothing I can do would ever amount to something significant or worthy enough for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I am like a grain of sand in an endless desert, and yet You think about me. What is love like this, that You stop to talk to me when I am crying, that You come to tell me that I am Your child. How could I ever deserve this?
What would happen if a person were to "fully" surrender their life to God, knowing beforehand that it can cost you your dreams, aspirations, plans, and even the welfare of the ones you love? Now think about this in terms of your life. Think about the job you have, the family you have, and the security you've built for years. What if God told you to give that all up in total surrender, and yes, even your family (Example: asking you to be a missionary where you will most likely become a martyr)? And no, it's not unlikely because men and women of the faith are dying more than they've ever have in the 21st century than any other century combined! Now before you start to reset your mind to what you've always known to be "true" and write off...
I learned that desperation leads to prayer, or turns into desperation. Prayer leads into courage. Courage turns into peace, which then it turns into gratitude!!! However if these steps are not followed properly, it brings us fear. It will bring worry and that leads back to desperation.!!! PRAISE GOD!!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR DYING ON THE CROSS FOR ALL OUR SINS!!!!! Everyone have a blessed day.
God's Promises For God's Provision If I obey God, will He really provide for me? How can I claim God's promise to provide for me? Does God really care about my troubles? Verses "My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 "In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us." Romans 8:37 "Let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God." 1 Corinthians 3:21-23 "If you abide in...
THE OLD RUGGED CROSS So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness... When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians 2:6-7, 13-15 Never forget the cross that Jesus Christ died on. There was victory on that cross. Do you remember the...
CLEANSE MY HOME FROM ALL IMPURITIES! - Part 2 “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:14-15 In the Old Testament, God told Moses and Joshua to take the Israelites to the Promised Land, He warned them there were other false gods in different countries that they traveled through. Over and over again, God's people were told to not make...
CLEANSE MY HOME FROM ALL IMPURITIES! - Part 1 Are you ready for your marriage to be rebuilt one brick at a time, with the Lord revealing and exposing the areas in your and your spouse’s hearts and lives that need to be cleansed? Are you wanting to rebuild your marriage on the solid rock of Jesus Christ? Are you willing to get to work to cleanse your own life first from all of your impurities? Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when...
Learn to trust God--if you are going through some overwhelming trials trust that the One who was beaten beyond human recognition, made to carry His own cross UP HILL to a place called Golgatha and was hung on it until He gave up His breath for us. That is the most overwhelming, unconditional love anyone can ever have for anyone else and HE did it for ALL of mankind for "whosoever will." So, trust in His love "He will never fail or forsake you" and "He will never leave you." Instead, ask Him, "Lord, if you are allowing this, then by Your overwhelming love I know it is for my good for Your "work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to your purpose. So Lord, please show me what it is You are...
I wanted to share with you a passage in the Bible that touched me deeply. I pray that this will give you hope and inspire prayers. Job 33 14 For God does speak—now one way, now another— though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, 16 he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword. 19 “Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones, 20 so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal. 21 Their flesh wastes away...
