Lord please carry my future wife, lift her up, bring her joy. Let her live for you everyday. Whisper in her ear every day, tell her you love her, tell her I love her. Lord watch over her. Lord, be her first love. Lord make me who you need me to be, make me who you intend me to be. Prepare me for her. Prepare me, so that I can be the best husband. in Jesus name. amen. Lord, thank you.
Amos 8:11-13 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. 13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. We see in this scripture God caused a famine of hearing the words of the Lord and people searched all over to hear and could not find it, and they fainted for thirst for His word. Why would God do such a thing? It is because men and women have left the sure foundation they had in the written Word of God. They run to men...
Look at how we limit the Lord by only remembering what we have allowed Him to do for us in the past. We think "it is ridiculous to ask God to do this." Consquently, we don't ask for what we want. If it is an impossibility, it is THE VERY THING for which we have to ask. And God will do what is absolutely impossible. You (I) have to come to the point of believing Him to be Almighty. If we only look at what He says, we will never believe. So don't limit the Lord. It SHALL be done according to your faith.
When we retire at night, let us constructively review our day. Were we resentful, selfish, dishonest or afraid? Do we owe an apology? Have we kept something to ourselves which should be discussed with another person? Were we kind and loving toward all? What could we have done better? Were we thinking of ourselves most of the time? Or were we thinking of what we could do for others, of what we could contribute into our daily life. But we must be careful not to drift into worry, remorse or morbid reflection, for that would diminish our usefulness to others. After making our review we ask God's forgiveness and inquire what corrective measures should be taken. On awakening let us think about the twenty-four hours ahead. We consider our...
Lord Jehovah I pray that you please hear my prayers and cries and allow peace and miracles to come my way and my sister's way today. I know you're real Father and I know that nothing is impossible for you. I pray that you please help us today. Allow financial blessing to come to us. Since I lost my dad and then got laid off from job almost a year it has been really rough. I keep praying that you please help me Father. I realize I'm not perfect and I have caused reproach on your name (not on purpose) but I beg for your forgiveness. I'm feeling like Job. My life is so upside down but like Job I will remain faithful to you Lord even though I realize Satan is trying to destroy me. I beg for your protection from him for my sister and I...
THE HOLY OF HOLIES What was the Holy of Holies, it was a small room 10 cubits x 10 cubits or (15' x 15') separated from the Holy Place by the veil. It housed one piece of redemptive furniture, the ark of the Covenant, with its mercy seat. There was no created light like the sun and no artificial light but God's own "Shekinah" glory that lit up the Holiest Place. There was no seat for man but here Jehovah sat alone on the throne of glory and righteousness. Only the high priest could enter once a year, he entered with bowed head, unsandaled feet, and bells on the hem of his garment. No human voice was heard there, only the voice of God. What a awesome experience for this priest to be in the same room with God but also a fearful thing as...
Dear Heavenly Father, In Isaiah, you invited me to "come now and let us reason together." You said that you would blot out my transgressions and would not remember my sins. I am coming now to state my case- to try to reason and contend with you as to why you should answer my prayer. All good things come from you Lord and you satisfy my desires with good things (Psalm 103:4-5). You told me not to be anxious, but to present my requests to You. Please Lord, cover me with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard the gates of my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7. At the beginning of creation you said it is not good that man should be alone and then in Genesis 2:18, you created Eve to be a suitable...
Those who have learned by experience what physical and emotional pain and anguish mean, are a community all over the world. They are united by a secret bond. one and all, they know the horrors of suffering to which mankind can be subjected. One and all, they know the longing to be free from pain. He who has been delivered from pain must not think he is free again and live his life just as he did before. Having come deeply to know pain and anguish, he must help to take a stand against pain and anguish so far as human power can control them, and to bring others the deliverance which he himself has experienced. Such is the fellowship of those who bear the mark of pain. One and all we must realize that our existence receives its true...
