THE HOLY OF HOLIES What was the Holy of Holies, it was a small room 10 cubits x 10 cubits or (15' x 15') separated from the Holy Place by the veil. It housed one piece of redemptive furniture, the ark of the Covenant, with its mercy seat. There was no created light like the sun and no artificial light but God's own "Shekinah" glory that lit up the Holiest Place. There was no seat for man but here Jehovah sat alone on the throne of glory and righteousness. Only the high priest could enter once a year, he entered with bowed head, unsandaled feet, and bells on the hem of his garment. No human voice was heard there, only the voice of God. What a awesome experience for this priest to be in the same room with God but also a fearful thing as...
Dear Heavenly Father, In Isaiah, you invited me to "come now and let us reason together." You said that you would blot out my transgressions and would not remember my sins. I am coming now to state my case- to try to reason and contend with you as to why you should answer my prayer. All good things come from you Lord and you satisfy my desires with good things (Psalm 103:4-5). You told me not to be anxious, but to present my requests to You. Please Lord, cover me with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard the gates of my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7. At the beginning of creation you said it is not good that man should be alone and then in Genesis 2:18, you created Eve to be a suitable...
Those who have learned by experience what physical and emotional pain and anguish mean, are a community all over the world. They are united by a secret bond. one and all, they know the horrors of suffering to which mankind can be subjected. One and all, they know the longing to be free from pain. He who has been delivered from pain must not think he is free again and live his life just as he did before. Having come deeply to know pain and anguish, he must help to take a stand against pain and anguish so far as human power can control them, and to bring others the deliverance which he himself has experienced. Such is the fellowship of those who bear the mark of pain. One and all we must realize that our existence receives its true...
(I Corinthians 7:17) “Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.†Being content in your current situation is not easy but it is attainable if you would learn to trust God. Frustration sets in and leads to anger when you are too focused on the problem. The problem seems so overwhelming and more and more time goes by with prayers unanswered. You just want to throw your hands up and cry. I know, I have been there with issues concerning my son and the prayers seem to go unanswered and the issues with him will bring me down. Financial issues too overwhelming beyond my control and ability to resolve...
I like this version so posting it too. In the darkness Where everything is unknown I face the power of sin on my own I did not know of a place I could go Where I could find a way to Heal my wounded soul. He said that I could come into His presence without fear Into the holy place where His mercy hovers near I'm runnin' I'm runnin' I'm runnin' to the mercy seat Where Jesus is callin' he said His grace would cover me His blood will flow freely It will provide the healin' Come runnin' to the mercy seat I'm runnin; to the mercy seat. Are you livin' where hope has not been? You're lost in the curse of a Lifetime of sin Lovely...
In God's timing we are 'tested'...each shall choose their path of obedience. It is said...if any man think that he knows anything...whoever has an opinion of himself, or is conceited with his own knowledge, and flirts with the thought that he knows more than he does; which is always the case of those that are elated with their knowledge, and treat others with contempt, with little regard to their peace and edification. He knows' nothing yet as he ought to know; if he did, he would know this, that he ought to consult the peace, comfort and edification of his brother...and therefore whatever knowledge he may fancy he has attained to, or whatever he may be capable of, and hereafter obtain, for the present he must be put down for a man...

THE SHOCKING TRUE IDENTITY OF SANTA CLAUS! Have you ever wondered just who Santa Claus really is? Is he just a mythical being that someone made up? Does he represent the false Germanic god, Thor, who has very similar characteristics to Santa Claus…or does he really represent a more ominous being, who is real and familiar to us all? Is he just an imaginary figure made up to honor a popular and benevolent Catholic saint named Saint Nicholas…or is he really “Old Nick?†Why do so many people teach their children about Santa? Is Santa really Kriss Kringle, another name for Christ…or could he be a counterfeit Christ? Why is he so popular in the world today, capturing the love and adoration of millions? Maybe it is a good idea to...
Friends, I don't know about you, but I know when I am going through painful trials, I feel like I lack patience which I know is needful according to the word of God . As I pondered the scriptures I noticed some things that Jesus said, John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Jesus said in this world were going to have troubles and on that, I believe we all can agree. I noticed a couple more points he made, He said In Him we might have peace and be of good cheer. Wow when trials are hammering down most of us aren't feeling very cheerful and most of us aren't feeling at peace. I started looking at more...
