He keeps sneaking up on us and trying to be an annoyance BUT we must learn that he's puny in comparison to our Lord! Also, he is the father of all lies. So, why exactly do we listen to him, let alone believe him? Why do we build altars to the fears and worries that he presents to us? We hear these thoughts in our heads (and in our hearts) and instead of clinging to the promises of the Lord, we belittle the cross and elevate these doubts and fears above the Lord. How wicked of us, to let anything be held above the Lord. The Lord is God and He is able. He is greater than all things. We must NOT let fear take the place of where the Lord should be enthroned. Lord Jesus, You are the goodness that is happening to me. You are the blessing beyond all other blessings on Earth or beyond Earth. You are the one true satisfaction of the soul. You are the healer of every scar within the heart. You are the smile that gives me warmth. You wake me up with joy in my soul. I thank You for the songs You sing. Lord, I long to love You more. Have you ever felt as if your life is one big dumping ground? Issues surround you so great it would take several large bulldozers to find you. You are not alone. God is with you and He promises to "never leave you nor forsake you." Have you read the story of Paul? The Lord blinded him to get his attention. Then upon acceptance it did not get any easier. He was stoned, beaten and imprisoned and that did not stop him! He even wrote from prison to glorify God. Can God use your life to bring glory to Himself? Will you allow Him? In your situation ask God, "Have I done something that I need to repent of?" If that is not the case then maybe He is trying to teach you something that you might not learn otherwise or draw a passion and a purpose...
