King Darius decided to divide his kingdom into 120 provinces and he appointed a high officer to rule over each province. The king also chose Daniel and two others as administrators to supervise the high officers and protect the his interests. This King made a decision to put Daniel in charge because he saw Daniel as someone special. Daniel 3:3 says: Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Let's look at this remark about Daniel, it says an excellent spirit was in him. Daniel had favor because he was a man who gave God time. To 'let go' does not mean to stop caring... it means I can't do it for someone else. To 'let go' is not to cut myself off... it's the realization I can't control another. To 'let go' is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences. To 'let go' is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands. To 'let go' is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself. To 'let go' is not to care for, but to care about others. To 'let go' is not to fix, but to be supportive. To 'let go' is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being. To 'let go' is not to be in the middle arranging the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies. To 'let go' is not to be...
Knowing what the word 'Word' means, 'something said, including the thought'. Know that the Lord is showing you a truth. When you open your Bible, know you are looking at GOD'S WORD, but realize it is God's thought in His Word that we must know and understand. The word of God says the Holy Spirit reveals the deep things of God to us. ( Corinthians 2:10 ) 'But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God'.... When God gives His word to us, does it not include His thoughts. To hear God's 'voice', for to read God's word and because of the thought process in our infinite minds, we do not arrive at the meaning of what God is actually saying. If we don't have the input of the...
What To Do When Everything Seems To Go Wrong Acts 16:16-34 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation. And this she did many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, And brought them to the magistrates...
(Judges 7:2-7) “The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’ Now announce to the army, ‘Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.’ †So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained. But the Lord said to Gideon, “There are still too many men. Take them down to the water, and I will thin them out for you there. If I say, ‘This one shall go with you,’ he shall go; but if I say, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ he shall not go.†So Gideon took the men down to the water. There the Lord told him, “Separate those who lap the water with their tongues as a dog laps...
