Hello Everyone, I'm not going to pretend that life isn't hard, depressing, or messy at times. I have had my share of each, and each day brings its own challenges and struggles. Often in these hard times the Devil tries to whisper small nothings in your ears that travels to your mind and infiltrate the way of thought. Once the negativity gets to the Brain we often start to really believe those things. We question whether God truly hears our prayers. Praying for the same things and more each and everyday. But for some reason God didn't answer yet. Our faith becomes weak, we feel beat down, and succumb to the hardship in life. But can I just tell you something? I have learn this as it is stated in 2 Peter 3 Verse 8 " A day is like a...
"Refuse all refugees" ... "We must nuke ISIS!!!" What does this mean? When the Lord decided that despite the fact that our righteousness is but filthy rags, when He noticed our wickedness, He chose to suffer and die for us instead of destroying us in His wrath. Jesus told us that we must pick up our cross and follow Him. He told us that we must die to ourselves and the things of this Earth. Are we truly followers of Christ if we are not willing to love these people even though they might cause us harm. What if Jesus didn't die for us because He knew that we were going to spit on Him, reject Him, mock Him, torture Him? What if He changed His mind walking to Golgotha? What then? Jesus told us that we must love...
Dearest Loved Ones, Have you counted your blessings lately? Like that chinese food that came in freshly cooked and not burnt! You Should! I've read many requests of those troubled with problems and out of sorts. Many times it's simply a test. Need a way out of no way? One way to please God and do his will is to give thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:18King James Version (KJV) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. There are just a number of things we can be thankful for. The forgiveness of your sins, the amazing grace of God, the promises he makes and fulfills, his power, his love, his protection...there is no end to his blessings! hallelujah! Yet..wait..there are so many...
The first day I will TRULY NOT allow satan to have a place in me, I know it'll be a struggle but I ask any readers to pray for me to get through it Today I barely feel like doing anything other then listening to gospel music/praying and so on. Video games and so on just seem so boring to me today, actually anything not relating to god does, its odd to feel as if I have no attachment to video games, after playing them all the time for roughly 8 years (since I was roughly 7). Some temptation to do sins is attacking me today, but not that bad yet at least.. its only 10:00 AM so far, but I will push on! GBU all and shalom!
YOU CAN KNOW GOD: There is a power greater than ourselves which manifests itself within us as well as everywhere else in the universe. This I call God. Do you know what it is to know God - to have God's constant guidance - a constant awareness of God's presence? To know God is to reflect love toward all people and all creations. To know God is to feel peace within - a calmness, a serenity, an unshakeableness which enables you to face any situation. To know God is to be so filled with joy that it bubbles over and goes forth to bless the world. I have only one desire now - to do God's will for me - there is no conflict. When God guides me to walk a pilgrimage I do it gladly. When God guides me to do other things I do them just as gladly...
Isa.55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. There is no need to pass through years of penance, of hard labor, and of trial; the gospel is as free as the air you breathe. You do not pay for breathing; you do not pay for seeing the sunlight, nor for the water that flows in the river as you stoop to drink when you thirst. So the gospel is free; nothing is to be done in order to get it. No merits need be brought in order to obtain it. There is free pardon for the chief of sinners through Jesus Christ's blood. But I said it was a full pardon. When Christ does anything he never does it half way. He is...
It seems the title walking by faith has been a frequent topic. Well, i'd like to share some personal experiences and how God tests us and we don't even know it. He says in the word the trying of our faith produces patience. It is best to start with small steps on the journey. Like ok... he led me here and he came through for me, then u grow in faith and have the patience to allow his plans to unfold. Just yesterday, i decided to walk by faith, and not by sight. I drove around seeking a homeless man i usually see next to mc donalds. I had been praying for him, and i believe in the promises of Isaiah 58. Unfortunately, it seemed to my rational mind, no one was around to help or preach to. The area was completely deserted, eerie...
A friend of mine shared this with me, and I feel that this is extremely important so I am resharing: From Shannon Ethridge's book Completely His - Loving Jesus Without Limits "When a bride commits her life to her groom, she promises to "love, honor, cherish, and obey...for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part." There is nothing conditional in these words. A bride does not vow to love only when her groom is lovable, to honor only when he is honorable, to cherish as long as there's something in it for her, to obey as long as she trusts his judgment, or to remain committed as long as it's easy. She commits to love her groom wholeheartedly. She commits to being completely...
Friend relationships that were on the previous version of the site have been restored. They will now show up as someone who follows you (your followers) and that you follow (you are following). You can follow other members from their profile page when you visit it. I have also put two options in the menu to find all the people that you follow (following) and who follow you (followers). They are in the members menu and the settings menu. You can adjust notifications for each person you are following and also manage the relationship itself. You can also edit your overall notifications in the settings menu using the notifications link. Private chat will also now use these relationships for...
