Let's not continue wandering around in the desert, grumbling and complaining that God has not answered our heartfelt pleas. We must trust the Lord that He will give everything that we need and truly desire in due time because God is good and His Word promises that. For His Word says: Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Psalm 37: 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Or do we not trust in his Word? Why are you grumbling if He will gladly...
(Matthew 15:13) “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.” When dealing with deep wounded hearts many people, most of us, want the pain gone any way we can get it. Heartache is not fun and many people reach out to something natural as a way of escape. Natural remedies, whether diving into shopping, or working more, gambling or drugs and alcohol, these things are only temporary and then the when the temporary relief wears off, the emotional pain returns. God, the creator of the heart is the only one who can heal the heart permanently. The heart remembers and all the emotional pain that is put upon you or that you choose to hold on to will not leave until you choose to get rid of...
In this Christmas season the world will try to invade our thoughts with it's commercialized view of Christmas. While we can take part, giving gifts let us remember the best gift of all the Jesus gave us, HIMSELF--Salvation. Greet the Christmas season in with joy and thanksgiving, remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season. I love the Christmas tree and try to relate everything on it to HIM. 1.Tree--He is the tree of life 2.Tree Trunk-Brown bark--Humanity--He came in the flesh to take back the keys and understand & help us in our weaknesses 3.Lights--He is the light of the world & in us lights up our spirit 4. Ornaments--Receiving His Holy Spirit--we receive the Fruit of the Spirit--changing...
MATHEW 25:35-36 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in. 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. As children of God we should live a life that is unselfish and purposeful, but many haven't learned the art of sowing into others lives as the scripture above speaks of. I've found that there are two types of people in this world, and they are givers or takers. The question is which one are you? Our prime example was Jesus who sowed His life for others, He was totally selfless. Jesus was always concerned about others and their needs. His life was intentional, He came into this world to make...
Dear God, I am writing You this letter to tell You that You are awesome. I cannot get over all of the marvelous things You have done for little ol' me. I was such a screw up but You didn't care. You loved me exactly the way I am. However, You did not like the fact that I was broken and messing up, so You have been healing and changing me. It is brilliant, God, to hear Your voice. It is brilliant when You tell me to stop destructive behaviors and to stop seeking things that hurt me. I had always thought that I was "not able to do school." Some times I still think that. I've had attention issues since elementary school and couldn't concentrate if I heard people moving in their chairs or the sound of pencils either writing or...
