You know...sometimes I experience something to such an extent on Earth, that I find it hard to imagine it NOT happening ,even in Heaven. One such thing, which confronts me all the time, even when I go to "neutral"area, is people who need something from me. {And it's not just even work anymore. That's the main attack on my time, but there's a few other types of things people might need me for.} And personally, even if I turn away a few, it gets to be a nuisance, and even if I turn away a few, there's always more and more,so it 's like me against the world. Now then... let's talk about Heaven.Things are supposed to be "different"in Heaven..And, we would think that since things are already perfect in Heaven, that no one would "need" anything...
I hear reasoning {excuses} that once a certain sinful practice becomes "legal" according to mans laws, then it's "ok" to do it. I heard on the car radio someone , when asked why he feels he "needs to"' smoke pot, he said, "Well, it's 'legal' where I am, so I'm not doing anything wrong".Some want to make prostitution legal,Alchohol is "legal", according mans laws. But does that mean it's "A-Ok" to be an alchoholic?Divorce may me within the law,but that doesn't make it the right thing to do.We go by what Gods laws are, not if man makes a sinful activity legal, thereby justifying us doing it. Let's see what God thinks. "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are advantageous.""Did grace come about so sin should prevail?Never may...
This discussion will create controversy. My point is to get discussion going on. So hobbies. I have plenty of them and most create now controversy like drawing, playing instruments, woodworking. All of those are pretty simple when related to following Jesus. Nothing special there. But then I have one hobby that raises questions at times. Martial arts. I have been doing Karate for 6 years. I began it after I came to know Christ. In my journey this has contributed to gtowth of my character. This is something that people wonder how it goes in line whit being a Christian. First of all there is lot of misunderstanding considering this subject. In my opinion practicing martial arts is perfectly in line whit my faith. It all really...
Received this while writing an answer to prayer request. Discern it under scripture and keep what is good. Prohecy begins Not anymore says the Lord for I will rise up new breed of leaders among you. And they will unite my people and those who truly follow me and keem my comandmends will be called my people. This is my call to war against the devourer. Against the devil who is father of lies. Go my beloved ones and cast out devils, heal the sick and proclaim the kingdom of God. I will give you power like I gave power for apostoles. Holy spirit already resides inside those who truly love me says the Lord. And soon I will open the floodgates of heaven and pour down my judgment but whit fire will also come cleansing. And those who seek me...
What is our real desire while we live on earth for a little while? Riches, material possesions, houses, cars, travel all over the word? None of those things shall enter heaven. All CDs, money market accounts and all the millions you have stashed in the bank shall not follow us to glory. So, what should be our desire while we live here on earth? This is my desire, to honor You. Lord, with all of my heart, I worship You. All I have within me I give You praise. All that I adore is in You. I hope and pray everyones desire is to praise and honor God above all things.
We hear people say--and have had ourselves--"gut feelings', where we just are "sure" about something, and act on it in certainty. Mostly, they're on track. Now the thing is, are these "gut feelings "our own wisdom that God planted in us, or are they just a feeling we "assume" is correct, built on the "odds" that it is what's most likely to happen? We would think all knowledge is from God--but then on the other hand, why is it that with my own "gut feelings'that once in a while I come to a wrong conclusion?Or could it be a little of both, we get wisdom from God, but once in a while "guess" on our own, and in these cases are wrong?Huh?

Dear HEAVENLY FATHER, thank you for hearing our prayers, for listening to burdens and cares. Lord, you know just how much we can bear. Thank You. I bow before Your throne only, seeking first and foremost, forgiveness for my transgressions. Thank You precious Lord for leading, guiding, and teaching me with patience and loving correction, the ways of Thy statutes. Thank you for answering publicly, prayers prayed in secret. From the depths of my heart, I give thanks for providing this open window to the world, through prayerrequest.com and other websites, whereby we may, as Daniel, lift our prayers in the midst of all, including our enemies. For we cowar not to the devil's threats nor insults; but, like Daniel, we open our windows...
There seems to be a different outlook between myself and certain others, even some unsaved people, and also some Christians. That wanting to learn more about certain Biblical things, and how this relates to that, that this is a "bad" thing.I disagree.Because ,1, it was my "curiousity" that actually brought me to the Lord. I had a yearning for Biblical things, and so when I saw books , like Hal Lindsey books on prophecy, but also salvation,I wanted to read them, and learned of salvation through them. If I would've "put my hands over my eyes" and be afraid to "poke",I wouldn't have found anything out,and remained unsaved, right? Also, there are Christian sites dedicated to answering Biblical questions, like "Got Questions.Org". {Also...
