Imagine lifting a five pound weight today, and tomorrow adding just one percent to the weight, and lifting it again. Continue adding just one percent each day, and at the end of one year you would be lifting 185 pounds. The effort necessary to achieve a one percent improvement is barely noticeable. Yet those small improvements, continued and compounded, quickly add up. What could you do today to make your life tomorrow just a little bit better? What could you do each day to continue that incremental improvement? Challenge yourself to invest a spare moment, a spare effort, a spare dollar, to benefit your future. Seek a small improvement, and then a small improvement on the improvement. You may not have access to vast resources, yet...
A lot of people are complaining about pain in the belly, in the back and sometimes pain in the chest. When they inquire what is wrong with them the doctor will say. There is a start of cancer in the liver. What? What have I done? Why is this coming to me? I run to the arms of Jesus and asked why this is coming to me and why I did not realize when those pains in my belly starting to show up. At first they say it was a bile duct blockage, then, they said your gallbladder needs to be removed. I went to Jesus again and asked why? Jesus said. Do not be alarmed. Are you seeking for Me. I am alive forever more. I am the One who healeth thee. I bowed down before His holy presence and said. I believe, I trust, I wait for...
Know what I'm tired of?SO CALLED "Christians"{?]who twist verses to justify their own sins.In other words, they tailor make the verses to justify what they're doing.Examples...you probably heard of this so called "Christian" running in the Democrat party{where else?}who is a practicing homosexual, married to another man{which is in complete rebellion of Gods laws}yet out of the other side of his mouth claims to be a Christian, and like most doing this, gets hostile to, and annoyed with, real Christians who preach against homosexuality. How deceived. Not to be outdone, I personally know an illegal alien, who in that one sin tries to commit other sins like commiting marriage fraud to make her look like a "real" citizen, and besides fraud...
. . . and sometimes you don't even sound saved! Nowhere in my writings have I ever told anyone they're not saved. I know it sounds like I'm guilty of this, but such is the nature of my assignment. I try not to question another's relationship with God, because I am often the recipient of such Phariseic misjudging. Howbeit, God knows the intent of my heart. As Christians, we should know better. For we are all but flawed works in progress, not yet glorified by the Father. In exposing (showing) sin in the church, I have only done, and will always seek to do only as God instructs: Isaiah 58: 1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Isaiah...
Love to see all my chldren grow up loving the Lord with all their heart, mind and soul and serving the Lord in the church, specially seeing them praising God in song in the choir. They know for sure where they came from and where they are going. Really, I want to see all of them in glory, praising and glorifiying God in the celestial choir of heaven. Yes, my perspective is richer now because children made me a better person. To trust and believe Jesus is leading us to our eternal home in heaven. My voice has clarity and openess because Jesus has given me a song that will never stop ringing on my ear. My faith is deeper now that has ever been before. I asked for protection and guidance for me and for my children, Jesus heard my...
When Job was raising questions,God spoke to him to show his lack of knowledge compared to God.Well, I'll tell you--when I try to figure some things according to my reasoning---usually a "surprise."I've tried to "add up" things, like "probabilitys", but it doesn't always work that way. I've had 2 people I might have to make a request of, {job related, usually}and one, because they act that way most of the time.I figured would give me a "hard time' about it, and the other, who was 'easygoing", I thought would easily agree. But it turned out that the "hardnog" person was easy, and the easygoing one said no!!Also with situations, the situations I thought had potential for problems, went over easily. but the one I thought was a cinch,caused...
I am glad to know that Jesus clearly spelled out for us who are the real childre of the living God..... He said.... Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Matt. 5.9 The world does not need so much success, riches, glory and pride in peoples lives. Jesus needs people who fear God, love His commandments, peacemakers, prayer warriors, restorers and those who share Him with everyone they live, work and travel with. Take small step and be a wonderful peacemaker then God will send large step to blessings to you and those you live with. Obey my word, says the Lord, so blessings upon blessings shall come to you and to everyone who hears and obeys my word.
Crowns are reserved for "The Honorable" "There's nothing weak about kindness and compassion. There's nothing weak about looking out for others. There's nothing weak about being honorable . . . There's a difference if you're honorable and treat others honorably outside the limelight." Honorable, President Barack Hussein Obama II Rest In Paradise ~
One thing I think might encourage hardheartedness, and there's a Bible statement that seems to back this up....the world becoming more populated and spread out.Because things become more impersonal, and so others, considering you to be "just a stranger" to them, have no great conscience about what they do to you.Is this true, that with overpopulation, and the world being more "spread out" , that the feeling of brotherhood has died?Well, what does the Bible say?In Genesis we read, "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the Earth and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men that they were fair and they took to them wives, all of which they chose,'followed by God shortening...
