When David faced Goliath, he never called him a giant. He called Goliath “an uncircumcised Philistine.” David downplayed his size because he refused to put Goliath on the throne. He kept God on the throne. He said to Goliath, “You come against me with a sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel.” You may be facing a giant of a problem. If you’re not careful, you’ll let that problem consume you with worry. The whole time God is in control and already has the solution, but you’ve taken God off the throne and put your problem on the throne. Here’s the key: if God is not on the throne, you’re not giving Him permission. God works where there’s an attitude of faith. You can’t...

```html Pray for Others It’s good to pray and ask God to help you with every need, but don’t stop there. As James 5:16 tells us to pray for one another. You have the ability to help someone else reach their destiny. Prayer moves the hands that rule the world. Prayer causes the God who created the universe to make things happen that we couldn’t make happen. When you pray, all of heaven comes to attention and the angels go to work. Chains of depression, sickness, and loneliness that have held others back begin to loosen. It may not happen overnight, but your prayers have great power and will produce wonderful results. ```
Ok...God didn't create robots. I would say, we see things differently, although it DOES seem to me like most people are brainwashed into thinking a certain way. Whether because they see the "masses" do it and it's trendy, or just don't think for themselves. Or their family thought that way, and, having grown up in that atmosphere, they take it as "gospel" that they must think that way too. Anyway...when it comes to "gray areas", if it's mainly "viewpoints", and not mentioned in the Bible, would God "lean towards" one side? Like, for example...most people I've heard seem to think that being alone is a negative thing, and feel loneliness. They might even consider it a stigma. I, on the other hand, see it differently like I look at being...
With all that's going on with the corona-virus, jobs, civil unrest, the need for peace, vaccines, cures, peoples personal finances, jobs, businesses and the economy -- Not to mention the state of The Christian Church -- There is a 3 day Esther Fast being called this week for Our Nation this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until Sundown[/U]. We invite you to pray and fast with all believers across our country for our nation and the nations of the world at this time as God gives grace to pray and fast as lead. May God bless the time of prayer and call many to prayer, repentance, salvation and reformation, in Jesus' Name. "Fasting and giving lends wings to prayer" ~ Early Saying of The Christian Church...
So a story is told about a troubled area deep in the South American jungle where militia-type groups had run amok breeding destruction wherever they went. Their main target were Christians. The congregation along with the elders did not know what to do. Church attendance had dwindled considerably. Some parishioners didn't feel safe to attend church anymore. One Sunday morning in a small modest church in a village nestled in the midst of the jungle, Christians were praising the Lord and singing joyfully. The church which usually housed about a hundred had been scaled back by half but they were loud nevertheless. Their music was suddenly disrupted by the unmistakable sound of automatic weapons. About 30 masked militiamen stormed in and...
How do we know when it's time to move on? To be certain, whether the movement is seemingly, from only one wilderness to the next, or whether transitory (backwards) or perpetual (forward), God's master plan is to give us a forecasted, hope and a future. Because God's ways are far beyond anything we can imagine, His perfect timing, in this process, is such that even cloudy days can be luminous when we trust His navigation. God's timing is not only perfect in purpose, it is likewise perfect in preparedness, that we might learn to come together and gird our loins. Sometimes God allows us to endure rough seasons to prepare and strengthen us for the battle ahead; so that when we reach the banks of Jordan, we are able to stand firm against...
I've seen this several times—someone starts out "small" with a certain sin, but then it "grows" until the devil has them hooked. Like, for example, it could be with drugs, the person starts off with a few "tokes" here and there of pot. {Quote--"Yeah the other drugs are chemical, but pot is natural, man. And I only have a few puffs once a week." {Meaning, they only "start out with" a few puffs once a week, then the thought gets in their head that since it's "harmless" anyway, a few more puffs, then add another day to it, until it's daily, then try another drug, etc.} Gambling. "I just went to the casino or the horse track once." At first, then when seeing they didn't win by the time their "allowance money" was spent, ah, what's another...
