Life changes all the time but this virus changed our existence the way Jesus wanted to change. Now we pray more than ever before. We can share with all our friends on line Jesus, the center of all joy, peace and happiness. More time to read Gods word and memorize the Psalms, the Ten Commandments and the Beatitutes. More time with our family and pets. Change is a challenge full of opportunities to learn who we really are. Change is change of mind and of attitude toward death and eternity. Change has become a way of life. Change is to walk in the way of solitude and be close to the heart of the Lord. To seek Him day and night. To tell Him how much we love Him, praise Him and a time to adore His holy name. Change is to see the way...
I have no doubt that God can change us when we seek Him with our whole heart. Often times it is little by little but there can be times where He do something amazing and change us in an instant. We just need to ask God for help and allow Him to work in us and through us. We won't be perfect this side of Heaven but when we get up each morning and try our best to be more like Jesus things in our life can change. I am reading an amazing book called "Goliath Must Fall" by Louie Giglio. It is help in winning the battle against your giants such as fear, rejection, addiction and anger. Louie says we need to fix our eyes on the size of your God, not the size of your giant. If you are struggling with any of these things...
There is a saying that I hear quoted a lot these days. It is something along the lines of, “Jesus is all we need.” I suggest if that were true, Jesus, after being declared “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” by John The Baptist and coming out of the water would have simply said that and gone back to heaven immediately. That simply didn’t happen. What did happen was that after hearing the affirmation of The Father, “This is My Beloved Son with Whom I am well pleased,” The Spirit led Him directly into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (Matt 4:1, Luke 4:1). In fact the very first Words recorded by Jesus after His ministry began were, “It is written.” Matthew 4:4. These were the first recorded Words of Jesus after...
I've heard some Christians say, "I was 'always saved', since I was born. I can't remember NOT being saved."But looking at it, the Bible states we're all descended from Adam, and Adam and Eve our first parents fell, and in their then fallen state passed it on to the rest of us.So if we're born in inherited sin, doesn't that contradict being "born saved?"{"The natural mind is enmity against God".}And the usual pattern is we're born into sin, then later accept the Lord, make our confession in the presence of others, say the sinners prayer, etc.{"Unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God".}Now unless a man {or woman} be born again,he cannot see the kingdom of God, how can they be born AGAIN if they're ALREADY saved at...
Death, failure, betrayal, sickness, disappointment, they cannot take our joy, because they can’t take our Jesus! Can death take our joy? No, Jesus is greater than death. Can failure take our joy? No, Jesus is greater than our sin. Can betrayal take our joy? No, Jesus will never leave us. Can sickness take our joy? No, God has promised, whether on this side of the grave or the other, to heal us. Can disappointment take our joy? No, because though our plans may not work out, we know God’s plan will. Death, failure, betrayal, sickness, disappointment. They cannot take our joy, because they cannot take our Jesus. Please underline this sentence: What you have in Christ is greater than anything you don’t have in life. You have a God who is...
It breaks my heart to see so many people dying without the Lord. Family member just crying out to God and finding no consolation seeing their loved ones being buried with anything in a mass grave. If only they come to Jesus and find comfort in Him. Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, Calling for you and for me. See on the portholes, He is waiting and watching, Watching for you and for me. Come home, come home. Ye who are weary come home. Earnestly, tenderly Jesus is calling. Calling o sinner come home. I see Jesus at the door pleading for you everyone to come and find comfort and peace down deep in their soul. Just open your heart, your mind and your soul. Let Him in and He will take away all the burdens and the pain...
Do you ever hear people saying "why do bad things happen to good people"? Well bad things happen to good people and bad people, rich or poor, young or old - no one is immune. God tells us that the rain falls on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). Being a Christian doesn't mean you won't suffer hardships, sorrow, sickness or depression. It does however mean, that you have someone on your side that will be by you every step of the way and walk through the fire with you. Going through difficult storms in our lives can lead us into discouragement. It can also reveal great faith in God. Where or should I say whom do you turn to reveals where your heart is. Do you look to family or friends when struggling...
Do not accept being sick all the time do not accept being an addict do not accept being in debt do not accept a job you hate do not accept being poor do not accept being in a toxic relationship do not accept anything remotely like the above! do not whine and cry that this is just the way life is for you because the Source(universe, God, Jesus, whatever name is comfortable for you) hears you and hears that you accept this way of life and you will continue to live it and continue to be in pain. Make a DECISION. Make a decision to get out of what causes you pain. No matter how bad life is for you, thousands perhaps millions on this earth are in a worse position. And thousands like you have made a DECISION to change their lot in life and...
