When a person is dying, and say a close relative is coming in from out of town, sometimes the person stays alive until the relative gets there,and maybe even wakes up from unconiousness , opens their eyes to see the relative, which prompts the unsaved relative to say, "She stayed alive just long enough so that their loved one could say their goodbyes."And I've heard them say things like ,"They 'willed themselves' to stay alive until everyone left, then they died."But I have a problem with that. While human determination can give you some more "oomph" to do certain things,where life and death are concerned, doesn't the Bible state,our days are "numbered".And at times in the Bible, we read that God changed the lifespan."MY{Gods}spirit...
