I am faced with the reality of losing my 2nd job on the 17th of October and before I would be panicking, but My faith has grown stronger that I am not worried because the Lord is in control! My Faith and Trust in the Lord has grown stronger and the Lord will take care of me. I just watched a Movie called Freedom, experience the World that inspired the great hymn "Amazing Grace" aboard Captain ###'s ship and what happened on that Voyage to America that changed the the Captain so Profoundly? Amazing Grace Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found Was blind, but now I see. 'Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, And Grace my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace...
For righteousness sake, we must first go back, before going forward: not to dwell again as before in wrongdoing; but, to right the wrongs of the past, to restore those whom we wronged, whether individual or even nation. Jesus did it on our behalf, when we couldn't do it for ourselves; therefore in being Christ like, so also must we do unto others. This is instructional both in the old and new testaments: Ezekiel 33: 15 "If the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die." Matthew 5: 23-24 "So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you...
There are so many trials and tribulations has come to all of us, distress, fear and worry fill our hearts with doubt and darkness has filled our life. Call on the Lord who is worthy of all praise. Hold Thou thy cross before my crossing eyes. Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies. Heavens morning breaks, and earths vain shadows flee. In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me. Anyone of us will pass through much affliction, and yet, hold on to the hand of Him who can save, who can heal, of Him who can lead us all to our eternal home in heaven. Abiding in the holy presence of Jesus, in prayer, in reading His word, in singing praises to His name will make our life full of peace and joy. In the presence of the Lord...
Of the "new age" thinking that 's misleading many these days, one that's to me as irritating as getting a gnat stuck in your eye is this idea"there's no right or wrong. Do your own thing, whatever you do is alright."I've heard this, like someone could be into what is obviously described in the Bible as sinful, even some other unsaved people who were brought up by parents who lived in more "moderate" times can see sin in certain things. But the "there's no right or wrong" followers can, say, be told of someone commiting adultery, and say, "Hey, there's not a right or a wrong. whatever makes someone happy."Well, that's completely opposite of what the Bible teaches, because if there were no wrong, there would be no Great White Throne...
The Bible doesn't mention the word "instigating" specifically. But it does say, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." And since instigating is stirring things up, which is the opposite of being a peacemaker, it would seem to me that God wouldn't approve of such. But some examples come to mind. Like, these race problems. I'm white, and since the incident that set off hostilities, I've had dealings with black people, and how it's been in my cases, there were no signs of hostilities. I and them reacted to each other in a regular way, and it didn't seem like race was an issue. BUT ..., now when there are others "stirring things up" {and people believe the instigators}... second, some people just "blurt things...
Its never been the way I wanted to live and the path I've taken diverged from the straight & narrow path countless times. I look back with regret and shame, and the feeling is strangling. But that's the beauty of my testimony in God Almighty, Jesus my Redeemer and holy spirit my comforter. My experience was the lesson that taught me the Grace of God, the atonement of Jesus and the comfort of the holy spirit that's divine. I testify that the Grace of God is sufficient, the power of the Savior and his atonement is real, Holy spirit is divine and full of peace, it's my safe haven, my last resort & my hope. . . as I bear my testimony now, I once again celebrate my isolation from my past. I am grateful for I know that what matters most is...
Jesus wanted all His followers to be faithful, to believe and trust His word. He wants all of us in heaven. He is calling us to come to Himself just as we are. Believe in life eternal He has promised us. Believe in the impossible. It shall happen. Our unsaved relatives and friends will be saved. We shall see all of them in heaven. Believe in friendship, in love and peace coming to all of us. Believe Jesus is at the door and is coming for you and for me. In My Fathers house are many mansions. I am going to prepare a place for you, that where I am, there you may be also. Jesus promise to us.
Matthew Henry, a well known bible teacher once said, he was robbed. While making an entry into his journal he said about thanksgiving. First I am thankful I was never robbed before. Secondly I am thankful they only took my wallet and they didn't take my life. Thirdly I am thankful because they took my all but it wasn't very much. And fourth, I was robbed but it wasn't I who robbed. It is a matter of perspective. A matter of choice. Be thankful in ALL things! When we add thanksgiving everything changes. In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 it states "in everything give thanks for this is the will of God, in Christ Jesus for you". My husband was badly burned at work years ago from his waist down from a vehicle radiator exploding...
Genesis 18: 11 -12 says "Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my Lord is old will I now have this pleasure?" But in this chapter, our Lord sees to it that Sarah does have a child. She was about 90 years old. This chapters shows how nothing is impossible for God, though it may be impossible to us humans. I've got a Genesis 18 breakdown at the link below: https://satansattraction.blogspot.com/2020/06/god-talks.html
