I am so grateful to the Lord for protection over Covid and all other diseases that have come our way. He is One who heals our broken bodies and takes away all depression, worry, and fear. I want to travel and see my relatives and friends living far away, but I am putting everything off for now, asking the Lord for direction on what should I do for Thanksgiving. Feed the homeless, care for the elderly, take Bibles to those who are living in tents or just be a greeter in the church. Hope they open up the basement so winter clothing will be available to those who lost their job. Get the vaccine. Protect yourself and others. You and I will never thirst nor want anything else in this world because everything will stay right here when we depart planet earth. Jesus clearly told us this truth. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst. But the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water, Springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14 Jesus' words are all true. He is the satisfier of all good things. They argue, they fight for no reason and talk about what they should do and where they should go. They are lost in a dark world. What kind of attitude should we have when we see those negative desires and wants come to all of us? Jesus clearly said. Love one another as I have loved you. Let all the redeemed of the Lord have a positive mental attitude just like Jesus had. That will prompt us to have positive results. Show compassion and care for others and people will give all the glory to God almighty. I realized a couple years ago that, like Jeremiah, I too had to repent for my own vile language in telling God that I could not do what He had called me to do, when He had said otherwise. And so I repented; thus, He sent me back to my hometown to finish the job He had assigned to me. Unfortunately, there are some things He foreknew about the behaviors of this people. Sadly, the anger is also being vented in the wrong direction, when it should be directed inwardly.
