TRANSLATIONS The Bible has been translated many times. It even seems like, for as many transactions as there are, there are equally, and even more versions. And, that's fine, as long as the transaction is consistent and kept in context (remains true to its original text). I myself sometimes get so caught up in the Word that my 5th Ward auto-translator activates. In my last post, for instance, I mentioned something to the effect that, as a broken vessel, I am only broken to the city that did the harm; other cities can and will continue be rewarded through this "broken vessel." Well, that sentiment is in perfect sync with the original text. Paul, when he was being punished without cause, said: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer...
```markdown Glorious Sabbath Day People of God: I just can't help myself. Whenever I see people giving God glory, especially for what some may think is nothing, it moves me. It saddens me when people refuse to give God glory, but God is patient. I used to be the same way, and He was very patient with me. Therefore I too must be patient. As a teenager, I'd get so embarrassed whenever my mother would openly worship, especially when she did so in front of my friends. But, maturity in Christ brings clarity. Please, be patient with me as I attempt to draw you nigh with a bit of comparison. Think about it this way: Nobody has to tell you to jump, scream, or do the wave when your team scores points or wins a game, the turn of events...
Without really realizing it, from the very beginning, I have been doing the same thing that many of Jesus's original disciples did: I have been following Him, and writing about my experiences and things that I have witnessed while in service to Him. Joy! Joy! Joy! Thank You Lord
```markdown Words are important. Indeed, you must know "The Word" to do it. Jesus's very first miracle was turning water into wine. But had the servants not followed His words of instruction, the master's house would not have received the reward of new wine. Some claim to be Jesus's servants; they even quote Isaiah 54:17 daily. But, if you are truly a servant of our Lord, Christ Jesus, as Mary advised, you must follow His instructions. Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. ◄ John 2:7 (NKJV)► The problem with some, who profess servitude, is that they have attempted to use this particular vessel as part of their ceremonial ritual, but have failed to follow Jesus's instructions...
```markdown Every servant is given an assignment. John 2:5 (NKJV) His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it." Upon completion of the assignment, Matthew 25:21 (NKJV) His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.' Now comes reward . . . Isaiah 57:2 (NKJV) He shall enter into peace; They shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. And he shall wear a crown 👑 Rest In Eternal Peace ### ```
```markdown Glorious Sabbath Day People of God Luke 24 (NLT) The Resurrection ¹But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. ²They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. ³So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. ⁴As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. ⁵The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? ⁶He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, ⁷that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would...
```markdown Upon Jesus's arrival in Jerusalem, the party was on. The masses came out to greet Him dancing in the streets and waving celebratory palm leaves. Everyone was happy to believe in Him as long as they thought they were going to be enriched. But, how quickly the tide turned when Jesus opened His mouth and began to speak of repentance, denouncing sin, ritualism, and the status quo. That wasn't a message the people wanted to hear; so, they were easily persuaded, by jealous temple leaders, to set themselves against Him. They decided that Jesus needed to be held accountable for seeking to exalt Himself with blasphemous claims about His calling. But, because of insurmountable evidence, which testified in His favor, they could not...
