Yes please pray about fixing my and ###s life and let us have rest

We join with you in bringing your lives before the Lord and asking for His fixing, His rest, and His clear direction together. We hear your desire for wholeness and peace, and we know that true rest is only found in Him.

Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30. Apart from Him we strive in our own strength, but with Him we find the rest your hearts are longing for.

We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is through His name we pray and are heard.

As you seek God's direction for your life together, we want to encourage you in biblical truth concerning relationships. God ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and it is to be held in honor. Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4. If you and this other person are not yet married, we encourage you to see this time as courtship with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, rather than simply a partnership or dating relationship without that holy purpose. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14. And if there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality and to turn from it, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. God's way brings blessing, purity, and lasting peace, and we pray you will both seek to honor Him in this area so your lives together may be built on His firm foundation.

For direction, we cling to His promises. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 and I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. He also reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1.

So we pray together for you both.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up these two lives to You. Lord, You see their weariness and their longing for rest and for Your fixing hand upon what is broken. We ask that You forgive sins, cleanse what needs cleansing, and heal what is wounded. Give them true rest for their souls as they come to Jesus and take His yoke. Lead them into repentance where needed and into obedience that honors You. If they are not yet married, we pray You will guide them toward a godly marriage that honors You if it is Your will, or show them clearly if this is not the spouse You have for them. Help them to pursue purity, to be equally yoked in faith, and to seek You first above all else. Instruct them and teach them in the way they should go, make their paths straight, and let Your peace guard their hearts. Establish their lives on Christ the solid rock, and let Your will be done in their lives together. Draw them both closer to Jesus, that they may know salvation and walk in Your direction all their days. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord together daily in prayer and in His Word, to seek counsel from a Bible believing pastor or mature believers, and to commit your future fully to Him. As you acknowledge Him in all your ways, He will direct you.

We hear the weariness in your request and how much you both want things to be made right and to find real rest. Asking for God's direction together is an honest and humble place to be, and we are glad to pray with you for wisdom and peace.

When life feels tangled and exhausting, clarity often comes as we make a little quiet space to listen rather than pushing harder to fix everything at once. It can help to gently name together what feels most heavy right now and what a more peaceful, God-honoring next step could look like for each of you.

One practical step that many find helpful is to set aside two short times this week, maybe twenty minutes without phones or distractions, to pray quietly on your own first and then share with each other what you sense about next steps and where you need wisdom. If you have a trusted pastor or counselor you both respect, inviting them into that conversation can bring steady support and perspective as you seek God's will.

Father, we lift these two to You and ask for Your care over each of them. Provide the rest they are longing for and give clear wisdom for the decisions ahead. Quiet what is anxious, steady what is tired, and lead them step by step in Your will as they seek You. Draw each one closer to Jesus and give peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

You have asked for prayer for rest and for direction in your lives together, and it is right to bring such a burden to the Lord, for there is no true rest apart from Him.

The Scripture says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not rest after death, not rest after a time of probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too, for those who come to Him indeed find that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The Word tells us also, There remaineth a rest to the people of God, and that even now persons of a certain character enjoy rest, not a rest merely to hear of and to desire, but a rest into which believers have entered. Trust and you shall rest.

Yet there is a second rest after the first, for He says, Learn of me, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. The first is rest given, the second is rest found. It is the rest of a learner, the rest of one who takes His yoke upon him voluntarily and learns to be like Christ in meekness and lowliness of heart. True rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not rest with the yoke off, but with the yoke on. Let but your mind be like the mind of Christ, and you shall find a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find more and more.

For direction in dilemma, the Word says, Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. When human wisdom goes, then God's wisdom appears. He who divided the Red Sea for His people can make a way where there is no way, and He will manifest His glory to the pure in heart who seek Him according to His Word. His direction is not found in following the devices and imaginations of our own hearts, but in being taught of God from our youth, and in declaring His wondrous works with a willing heart to obey Him.

Therefore we will pray for you both, not that God would merely smooth your present path as you now walk it, but that He would draw each of you to Himself, that you may become indeed His people through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanses us from all sin. We will pray that if you have not yet truly come to Christ, you would come now and yield your hearts to Him, and if you have wandered, that you would return unto your rest, for you will never make out a good case by appealing to your own way, but by confessing guilt and asking Him for His mercy's sake to pass over it and to restore you.

Our prayer is this, that the Lord in mercy would fix what is broken by bringing each of you first into a right relation to Himself through faith in Jesus Christ alone, that He would teach you both to take Christ's yoke upon you and to learn of Him, that He would give you the present rest of forgiveness and the daily rest of a life ordered by His Word, and that He would direct your steps according to that Word, which alone is preserved and speaks with freshness and force, concerning salvation, concerning holiness, concerning marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and concerning purity of life. May He show you clearly what is His will, and give you grace to walk in it, whether that be to walk together before Him in holy marriage, or to walk apart in holiness, as His Word requires, and may He keep you from resting in sin, which is no rest at all.

May the Lord teach you both, and make you willing learners, that you may find rest unto your souls in doing His will, and may you prove that they who trust Him do indeed enter into rest.
