We lift your concern for your son before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the deep love and worry a parent carries. The silence you’re experiencing is painful, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring you peace and assurance.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calms every storm and hears every cry. We ask that You would surround this mother with Your comfort and wrap Your arms of protection around her son. Lord, we pray for open lines of communication—let her hear from him soon, not just for her peace, but so she may know he is safe in Your care. You tell us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim that peace for her now, Lord.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there is anything You would have her do—whether to wait patiently, reach out in love, or seek godly counsel—make it clear to her. Remind her that You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost (Luke 15:4). Even if she cannot see it, You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that would seek to overwhelm her. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen her faith to trust in Your timing and Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We declare that no weapon formed against her son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in both of their lives (Philippians 1:6). May she rest in the knowledge that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children.
We thank You, Father, for the promise that when we draw near to You, You draw near to us (James 4:8). Draw close to her in this time of waiting. Fill her with hope, and let her heart be at peace, knowing You are in control. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
