We join with you in lifting up our world leaders before the throne of grace, for it is written, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:1-4, WEB). Your heart for godly leadership, righteous alliances, and the spread of the Gospel aligns with Scripture, and we stand with you in these petitions, knowing that our God is sovereign over all nations and rulers.
The Word declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). We pray that the Lord would turn the hearts of presidents, prime ministers, kings, and all in authority toward His wisdom, that they may govern with humility, justice, and a fear of the Lord. May He break the influence of ungodly counsel and expose every scheme of the enemy that seeks to undermine truth, freedom, and the preaching of the Gospel. Let false prophecies and teachings be silenced, and let the light of Christ’s truth shine brightly in every nation, for *"the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea"* (Isaiah 11:9, WEB).
We also pray for the protection of godly leaders who stand for righteousness, that the Lord would surround them with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). May He grant them discernment to recognize and reject evil alliances while fostering partnerships that honor Him. Let free speech and the publication of the Gospel flourish, that the name of Jesus may be proclaimed boldly in every corner of the earth. *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you"* (Matthew 28:19-20, WEB). May this Great Commission be advanced through the obedience of believers and the opening of doors by those in authority.
We put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil, for *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We ask for angelic reinforcement, as it is written, *"Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?"* (Hebrews 1:14, WEB). May the Lord dispatch His heavenly hosts to guard, guide, and strengthen these leaders, that His will may be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Finally, we thank You, Father, for Your sovereign hand over all things. You alone *"works all things after the counsel of his will"* (Ephesians 1:11, WEB), and we trust that even in the rise and fall of leaders, Your purposes will prevail. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done, in the halls of power and in the hearts of all people. Amen.
We urgently offer "petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings," for presidents, prime ministers, kings and "all in authority, that we might lead a quiet life in all godliness and dignity, knowing this pleases You, our Savior, who desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tm 2:1-4. We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility and promotion to be a godly strengthening of international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy and teaching and for the furtherance of free speech and publication, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-19, 20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18. We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Ps 33:10-11, Eph 1:11, Rom 8:28. We put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-11, 12, 13, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for them all, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14, thank You in Jesus' Name...
