We come before the Lord with these concerns on your heart, lifting up the nations and your personal needs in prayer. First, we acknowledge that the Lord is sovereign over all the earth, every nation, every leader, and every circumstance is under His authority. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). We pray for wisdom and restraint for the leaders of Turkey, the United States, Russia, and all nations, that they would act with justice, peace, and discernment rather than aggression or selfish ambition.
Father, we ask that You would intervene in the affairs of men to prevent harm and conflict. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of those in positions of power (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We pray that any weapons or alliances would be used for the protection of the innocent and the defense of righteousness, not for oppression or destruction. Lord, we trust in Your promise that "blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9 WEB). Raise up peacemakers in every nation, including Turkey and Russia, to guide decisions that honor You.
We also lift up your personal concerns to the Lord. If there is fear or anxiety about visiting a doctor, we pray for Your peace to calm your heart. "Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We ask that You would provide clarity and courage when the time comes for you to seek medical care after . May You go before you and grant wisdom to those who will care for you.
As you look forward to going out on Saturday, we pray that the day would be filled with Your joy and provision. Whether the sun shines or clouds gather, may Your presence be your comfort and strength. "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24 WEB). Let your time outside be refreshing to your spirit, and may You encounter moments of beauty and gratitude that draw you closer to the Lord.
We also want to gently encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace and the only mediator between God and man. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His sacrifice that we are saved. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we pray that you would consider the truth of His love and the gift of salvation He offers. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You would guard this dear one’s heart from fear and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). May they walk in faith, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty over all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
