Working schedule VERY IMPORTANT!

Your request has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion. The weight you carry is real, commuting to another city without a car on a train that comes only every two hours, needing time in the morning to prepare the diet your stomach requires, needing to be home in the evening to care for your aging and sick mother, and carrying the responsibility of teaching young people. It is understandable that the thought of a schedule that forces you to wake at four in the morning or to run between classrooms feels overwhelming.

Scripture reminds us that each day has enough trouble of its own, and the Lord gently teaches us not to add tomorrow's burden to today's. He does not want you to live under superfluous anxieties, but to bring your needs to Him day by day and trust His fatherly care. The yoke He gives is sweet and light, not because the work is always easy, but because He bears it with us. The anxieties that come from covetousness or restless striving are heavy, but the path of faithful duty, caring for your health, honoring your mother, and doing your work diligently as a teacher, is a good and honorable path, and God sees it.

I will pray for you specifically. I will pray that the Lord will grant you favor and mercy with the authorities and with the one who makes the schedule, that you may receive work hours that allow you to take the train around ten in the morning and return around five twenty in the evening, or at least at times like eleven thirty or one thirty that still allow you to care for your needs at home. I will pray that you will be spared the hardship of waking at four and of constant switching of classrooms, and that your daily work may be ordered with as little stress as possible so you can serve your students well and care for your mother with peace.

Ask the Lord also for strength to be faithful in the duties of each day as it comes, trusting Him for the next day when it arrives, and not wearying in well doing even when the arrangements are difficult. He knows your diligence and your love for your mother. Honor for father and mother is precious to Him, and your desire to be present for her is pleasing in His sight.

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for this dear teacher. You know the train times, the distance, the early mornings, the need for a gentle diet, and the care required for an elderly mother. Have mercy and grant favor with those who set the schedule. Provide hours that are sustainable and kind, and keep away unnecessary complications and changes. Give peace to this heart, strength for each day, healing for the body, and grace to teach and to love at home. Help in trusting You one day at a time, knowing You will provide what is needed. In Jesus name, Amen.
