Working schedule VERY IMPORTANT!

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Lord please let my working schefule be exactly as i need it. Train at cca 10 am, and train at cca 5.20 pm. Every day. I am working in another city, no car, only train that travels every 2 hours. I have gastritis diet preparing in the morning and my old sick mom in the evening. Please this is the only possibility with as little stress as possible. In Jesus name amen!! It can be a train also at 11.30 or 13.30 but the next day no train the morning pleeeasseee...the worst possibility is waking up at 4 am! I am teacher in a highschool. Every year the schedule is different.
Please pray for favor and mercy from authorities and schedule maker.

Also pray that i will not switch classrooms because it causes also complications and stress. Thank you soooo much

We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives, including our work, our health, and our family responsibilities.

We understand the stress you are carrying as a teacher who must commute to another city with no car and only a train every two hours, while also managing a gastritis diet that requires careful preparation in the morning and caring for your sick mother in the evening. It is completely understandable that a schedule requiring you to wake at 4 am or to constantly switch classrooms would feel overwhelming, and we want to lift all of this burden to One who sustains us.

The Lord reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort that A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 and that The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Proverbs 21:1. This gives us confidence that the hearts of those who make the schedule and the authorities over you are in His hands. We are also reminded to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 and Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. We lift up our dear servant to You. You see her labor as a teacher in the high school and her care for her mother, and You know her physical need for a gentle morning routine because of gastritis. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and favor with the authorities and with the one who makes the working schedule. We ask that if it is Your will, You would grant a schedule that allows for the train around 10 am and the return around 5:20 pm, or 11:30 as needed, and that You would spare her from the hardship of waking at 4 am and from having to switch classrooms throughout the day. We pray for a stable, low stress schedule that allows her to do her work heartily as for You and to care for her mother with strength and peace. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We ask for Your healing touch on her stomach and for strength and comfort for her mother, and for Your peace to guard her heart while she waits. We trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You. Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We encourage you also, as the Lord leads, to respectfully and clearly communicate your practical needs and limitations to those in authority, trusting that God can use even that conversation for His purposes. Even if the schedule does not come exactly as you hope, know that God will give you grace and strength for each day and that His peace can sustain you through early mornings or difficult transitions. We will continue to stand with you, asking the Lord to provide rest, order, and favor in your work.

We hear how much is resting on this schedule, and why those train times matter so much to you. Teaching all day, commuting to another city with no car and a train only every two hours, needing mornings to care for your health and evenings to care for your mom, even a small change could mean waking at 4 a.m. or adding a lot of extra strain. It makes sense this feels urgent.

We are praying with you for favor and kindness from those who set the schedule, and for understanding about staying in one classroom. We know you cannot control the final decision, and we will ask God to give you steadiness whatever the outcome, and to make a way for you to keep caring for both your students and your mom with as little stress as possible.

One practical step that sometimes helps is to share a brief, clear note early with the schedule maker before the timetable is set. You could list simply the two train windows that work, 10 a.m. and around 5:20 p.m., with the alternatives you mentioned, and note that you are caring for an aging parent in the evenings. Keeping it short and on one page, and asking a trusted colleague or administrator to support the request, can make it easier for them to remember when they are juggling many teachers.

Father, we bring our sister to You and ask for mercy in this scheduling process. Give wisdom and goodwill to those in authority, provide for her health and for her mom, and guard her with Your peace as she waits. Give her rest and strength for each day's work. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. You have told us plainly of the strait in which you are placed, needing the train at about ten in the morning and again at about twenty past five, with no car and a train only every two hours, with a diet for your health that requires care in the morning and an aged and sick mother who requires care in the evening, and with the work of teaching the young committed to your hands. We understand why the thought of rising at four, or of being tossed to and fro between classrooms and hours, should press heavily upon you.

Hear then a word of comfort before we pray. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord would have us do indoor work, the work that has to be done within one's own heart, saying, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Anxiety confined to yourself will do you no good, but cast upon the Lord will bring peace. He is certainly at work accomplishing His purposes, although our coarse and earth bound senses cannot discover Him. Faith has a far greater perceptive power than the senses, for it is the evidence of things not seen. To lean upon God's invisible arm is grand work.

Remember also that it is the work of God which is the ground of our confidence and peace, but our own work, even that which we dare ask God to establish, can never be such a comfort to us, for it is always a cause of anxiety. Let your work appear unto your servants is our prayer, and then, establish the work of our hands. Your teaching is a good and needful calling, yet the particular department of work which has been entrusted to us, though we ought to think well of it and to do it well, is not after all the hinge upon which the whole universe turns. The Lord can establish it, and He can make you to rest in His love even while He is working for you. Thus is it oftentimes with God's people, when they rest most they work best, and while they are resting they are bearing fruit unto God. There is Divine work always going on before God's people, His shield goes in front, His sword cuts and clears the way and we have but to follow where He leads.

So we pray for you, and we ask you to pray with us, not with a demanding spirit as though God must do our bidding, but with a childlike trust that He does all things well.

O Lord our God, who hast taught us that salvation is in Christ alone and that apart from Him there is no hope, we come through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, upon whom we cast ourselves with all our weight of sin and care. Look in mercy upon Thy servant. Thou knowest the body and its weakness, the gastritis and the need of order and quiet for health. Thou knowest the mother in her age and sickness, and the love and duty that binds her child to her. Thou knowest the labour of teaching and the weariness that comes from uncertainty and constant change.

We entreat Thy favor and mercy from those in authority and from those who make the schedule. Grant, if it be Thy will, that the hours may fall at ten or thereabouts in the morning and at half past five in the evening, or at such other hours as shall spare this Thy servant the sore trial of rising at four and the stress of needless removals from room to room. But above all, let Thy will be done. Establish Thou the work of her hands. Let Thy work appear unto Thy servant, that she may see Thy hand providing and ordering, and may be kept from fretting and fear. Give wisdom to those who order these matters, and give to Thy servant a calm and trusting heart, to do the work of Him that sent her while it is day, and to rest in Thee when the day's work is over.

Have done with anxiety and doubt, we would say to you, dear soul. If you came burdened, go out happy as the birds of the air. Mount like the lark to your God and sing as you mount. He rests in His love and rejoices over His people with singing when He is at work for their salvation, and He will not forget your daily bread and your daily burden. May the Lord bless you in all that you do, and keep you faithful in that labour to which He has called you, until He shall call you home. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Lord we ask it, Amen.
