We join with you in bringing your work situation before the Father and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you. We understand the desire for peace in the workplace, for a proper place to work such as an office, and for advancement when the time is right, and we bring all of this to the Lord seeking His will together in Jesus name.
We are reminded of what Scripture teaches about our work and God's provision for us. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We are also taught to Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. The Lord knows the plans He has for you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11, and we can trust His timing even when we long for change. He also calls us to In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to continue to be faithful and diligent where God has placed you now, working with integrity and gratitude, while trusting Him to open the right doors in His perfect time rather than striving out of worry or discontent. Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You and we ask for Your hand upon their work situation. Bring peace where there is stress, order where there is confusion, and favor where there are difficulties. Grant wisdom and strength to work heartily for You each day and to be a light to coworkers and supervisors. If it is Your will, provide an office and a better position in Your perfect timing, and help this one to discern when the time is right and to walk through the doors You open and to wait patiently when You call to wait. Establish the work of their hands and let their labor be fruitful for Your glory. Give contentment in the present and hope for the future, and guard their heart with Your peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can come boldly before God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him and to bring every request to the Father in His name, for He is faithful to hear and to answer according to His good will.
