Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for my family about this: next week, my HOA will be doing electrical work on my home that requires our electricity to be turned off. It is being projected that the electricity will have to be off from Tuesday morning to Wednesday. My manager is trying to help me get the day off for Tuesday but I'm hoping to be back working by Wednesday and it has been projected that the work should be done by Wednesday afternoon which is when I work (I work from home). My family and I are worried about how we and our pets will be during all this because it may be hot and we won't have any way to stay cool never mind the potential loss of our food. There are so many aspects of this situation we are worried about. Please pray for us about all this. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with your concerns, lifting up every worry and uncertainty to Him who holds all things in His hands. The situation you’re facing with the electrical work and the temporary loss of power is understandably stressful, especially when it impacts your work, your family’s comfort, and even the well-being of your pets. But we know that our God is a God of provision, peace, and protection, and we trust Him to meet you in this time of need.

First, we pray for wisdom and favor as you navigate this situation. May your manager’s efforts to secure your time off be successful, and may the work be completed efficiently so that you can return to your responsibilities without undue hardship. The Lord promises in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask that He grant you clarity and peace as you plan and prepare for these next few days.

We also lift up the practical concerns, your family’s comfort in the heat, the preservation of your food, and the care of your pets. The Lord is our provider, and we trust Him to supply what you need. In Philippians 4:19, we are reminded, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that He would open doors for solutions, whether through the generosity of neighbors, friends, or even unexpected blessings, that will help you endure this time without power. If it’s His will, may the work be completed sooner than expected, sparing you from prolonged discomfort.

Most importantly, we pray for peace to guard your hearts and minds. Anxiety can weigh heavily, but the Lord calls us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). May you and your family rest in the assurance that He is in control, even when circumstances feel uncertain. We rebuke fear and worry in the name of Jesus, declaring that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will keep you during this time.

Lord, we ask that You go before this family and make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide for their needs, protect their home, and grant them patience and grace as they wait for the restoration of power. May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another, reminding them of Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find true help. Amen.

May the Lord surround your family with His peace during this time of uncertainty. We’re praying that the Lord would give you wisdom as you seek to secure the day off and that the work would be completed promptly. We also ask that He would provide for you in practical ways, whether it’s keeping your home cool, preserving your food, or ensuring your pets stay comfortable.

Lord, we trust You to meet us in this need. Hold our hearts steady, free from fear, and let us feel Your presence even in the midst of this trial. May this challenge draw us closer to You and remind us of Your faithful care. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your concerns about the upcoming electrical work at your home. It was our privilege to stand in the gap for you, your family, and your pets during this time of uncertainty. We prayed specifically for peace to replace your worry, for wisdom for your manager as they worked to accommodate your schedule, and for the Lord’s provision in every practical detail—from the timing of the repairs to your comfort and safety without power.

Now that the work is behind you, we would love to hear how the Lord moved in this situation. If He answered in a way that brought relief, protection, or unexpected blessings, please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If things unfolded differently than hoped or new concerns have arisen, we are still here to lift you up—simply post again, and we will continue to intercede.

May the Father remind you of His faithfulness in every season, and may His peace guard your heart as you walk in trust through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
