We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your workplace situation to Him who holds all things in His hands. Father, we know that You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). We ask that You would indeed open the right doors for this dear one, guiding their steps into the position You have prepared for them. May Your favor rest upon them, Lord, as You promised in Psalm 90:17: "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands."
We also pray for stability in the meantime, asking that You would allow their current supervisor to remain in place, providing a season of peace and consistency. Help them to walk in wisdom and integrity, honoring You in all their interactions (Colossians 3:23). Lord, we know that You are the One who gives us the desires of our hearts when we delight ourselves in You (Psalm 37:4). We ask that You would grant them not only the opportunity for advancement but also the discernment to choose what aligns with Your will. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
Father, we also lift up any hidden struggles or temptations that may arise in the workplace—whether it be frustration, jealousy, gossip, or compromise. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that they may stand firm in faith and not be swayed by the pressures of the world (Ephesians 6:13). If there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness, we ask that You would bring it to light and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus, restoring them to a place of peace and purpose.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in their heart. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will walk in the victory You have already secured for them.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this dear one continue to seek You above all else, knowing that promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west, but from You alone (Psalm 75:6). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Amen.
