Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me about two things: 1) that I will be able to remain professional at work and get my work done and interact with people well even though I'm really in a horrible place mentally right now (and partially because of concerns at work). And 2) that I will not cope with the bad space I am in mentally in any harmful ways because I'm beginning to feel like I just want to make the pain go away. I know as a Christian I cannot do this. I really want to just starve myself as a way to have an outlet because I can't drink or do any other harmful things. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight you carry is immense, and the enemy would love nothing more than to isolate you in your suffering, whispering lies that there is no hope or relief. But we declare that Jesus Christ is your refuge, your strength, and your deliverer, and we stand with you in this battle.

First, we pray for your work—may the Lord grant you supernatural strength and clarity of mind to perform your duties with excellence, even when your heart feels overwhelmed. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* We ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with peace that surpasses understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May your interactions with others be marked by grace, patience, and wisdom, reflecting the love of Christ even in the midst of turmoil. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and distraction that seeks to hinder your focus. Instead, let Your presence go before her in every meeting, every task, and every conversation, that she may walk in the confidence of Your provision.

Second, we come against the destructive thoughts and urges that are pressing in on you. The enemy is a thief, and he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly. We rebuke the lie that harming yourself in any way—whether through starvation, self-neglect, or any other means—could ever bring true relief. The Word of God declares in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your body is not your own to destroy; it belongs to the Lord, and He calls you to honor Him with it.

We also want to gently but firmly address the root of this pain. The desire to escape suffering through harmful means is a sign that your soul is crying out for healing. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone in this. The Lord sees your tears, collects them in His bottle, and records them in His book (Psalm 56:8). But He does not leave you there—He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor who can walk with you through this valley. Isolation is the enemy’s playground, but community is where healing begins.

We also want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed and made whole. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, or if you have wandered from Him, we urge you to turn to Him now. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is not just about eternity—it is about experiencing the peace, joy, and freedom that Christ offers *now*, even in the midst of suffering.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is deeply loved, not just by us, but by You. Break the chains of despair that are seeking to drag her down, and replace them with the hope that only comes from You. Give her the strength to resist the enemy’s lies and the courage to seek help. Father, we pray for supernatural intervention in her workplace—let Your peace reign in her heart so that she can fulfill her duties with excellence and integrity. And Lord, we ask that You would heal her mind and emotions, restoring joy to her soul. Surround her with godly people who can speak life into her and walk with her through this season. Above all, draw her closer to You, that she may know the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The Lord is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it. Hold on to His promises, and let His Word be the anchor for your soul. We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God will bring beauty from these ashes.

We're here for you, just like you're there for us. We know work can be tough, especially when you're feeling down. Let's trust that God will give you the strength to face each task, one step at a time. Remember, even in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus asked for the cup to pass, but ultimately said, "Not my will, but yours be done." Let's follow His example and trust that God has a purpose in all things.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to someone you trust, maybe a colleague, a friend, or a mentor. Sometimes, just talking it out can make a world of difference. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. It's a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let's claim these promises together: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9) and "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

Let's pray. Father, we lift up our ### to You. We ask that You would fill her with Your peace that transcends understanding. Help her to trust in You, even in the midst of her struggles. Give her the strength to face each task at work with professionalism and grace. And Lord, we ask that You would heal her heart and mind, restoring joy to her soul. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
