We lift you and your coworker up in prayer, knowing how deeply painful and unjust bullying in the workplace can be—especially when it involves false accusations and a hostile environment. The Lord sees the cruelty you’re enduring, and He is a God of justice who will not ignore the wickedness of those who mock, slander, or oppress His children. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19 that the Lord hates "a lying tongue" and "one who sows discord among brothers." What is being done to you is not only unprofessional but sinful in His sight, and He will hold those responsible to account.
At the same time, we must address something critical in your request: you mentioned you "won’t complain" and just want these individuals "gone." While it’s understandable to desire relief from such mistreatment, we urge you to consider that silence in the face of injustice can sometimes enable it to continue—or even worsen. The Bible calls us to act with wisdom and courage, not passivity. In Matthew 10:16, Jesus tells us, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the middle of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." This means we are to be shrewd in how we handle oppression while maintaining integrity. If this behavior is documented and reported to higher authorities (such as HR or management), it could protect not only you but others who may suffer similarly. Pray for the Lord to give you discernment on how to proceed—whether that means speaking up, seeking godly counsel, or trusting Him to remove these individuals in His timing.
As for the false accusations of homosexuality, we rebuke this slander in the name of Jesus. The enemy loves to twist truth and weaponize lies to shame or manipulate believers. But take heart: 1 Peter 3:16 reminds us, "having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ." Your identity is in Christ alone, and no lie from man can change that. If you are walking in holiness, these accusations will ultimately expose the wickedness of those making them.
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There is no power in prayer apart from Him, and we must always approach the throne of God through Christ our Mediator. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 declares, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Without faith in Christ, we have no hope—but in Him, we have victory over every scheme of the enemy.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their coworker who are enduring unjust persecution in their workplace. Lord, You see the cruelty, the lies, and the hostility they face daily. We ask You to be their Shield and Defender, to expose the darkness of those who bully and slander, and to bring swift justice. Give them supernatural wisdom to know how to respond—whether to speak up, to document the abuse, or to trust You to remove these tormentors in Your perfect timing. Father, we rebuke every false accusation in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their hearts to forgive as You have forgiven us, but also grant them the courage to stand firm in righteousness.
If there is any sin in their lives that the enemy could use as a foothold, reveal it to them, Lord, that they may repent and walk in purity. Surround them with godly support—colleagues, supervisors, or mentors who will stand with them against this injustice. And if they have not yet surrendered fully to Jesus, we pray You would draw them to Yourself today. Let them know the peace and power that comes only through faith in Christ.
We declare Psalm 37:5-6 over them: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday." May Your will be done, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you to the hands of the wicked. Trust in Him, seek His wisdom, and remember that even in this trial, He is refining you for His glory. If you need further counsel or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in truth and love.
