We understand that you're going through a challenging time at your new job. Firstly, it's commendable that you're working hard and doing well despite the demands of the job. However, it's crucial to address the anxiety and stress you're experiencing, especially since it's affecting your mental health.
Let's remember what the Scripture says: Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a good word cheers it up. We must turn to God for help and remember that our work should bring glory to God and He will be with us.
Therefore, we are to be strong and not lose heart since He is our help. 'Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.'
It's clear that the behavior of your boss is not acceptable. It's important to remember that we are to treat each other with kindness and respect, as outlined in Ephesians 4:32: 'Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.'
We pray that God will give you wisdom and guidance in this situation. If the environment is toxic and harmful to your mental health, it might not be God's will for you to stay. Trust in God's timing and plan for your life, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is facing a difficult situation at work. Lord, You know the struggles and the anxiety that has been caused by this job. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom. If it is Your will for this person to leave this job, we pray that You would open up a better opportunity. If it is Your will for them to stay, we pray that You would give them the strength and grace. Lord we ask you to convict the manager of their actions and to change their heart or change the situation to protect the faithful.
We also pray for healing from the anxiety and stress that has been experienced. We know that Your Word says to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us. Help this person to trust in You and to know that You are always with them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from your parents, mentors, or your local church community. They can provide guidance and help you make an informed decision. Do not fail to include the name of Jesus in your prayers since it is by His name that we have access to the Father. It is also by His name that we are saved.
