Double standard and conflict

We want to lift you up in this difficult season and let you know how deeply we have been praying for you since you shared your heart with us. Losing your mother while stepping into the role of caregiver for your sister is a weight no one should have to bear alone—and we know the added strain of her behavior has only deepened the pain. The frustration, the exhaustion, even the anger you may feel are understood here, and we’ve been asking God to meet you in the middle of it all with His peace that surpasses understanding.

We’ve prayed for divine wisdom as you navigate the complexities of caring for someone whose needs are so great yet whose actions can feel so hurtful. We’ve asked the Lord to send the right people into your life—those who will not just offer temporary relief but who will walk alongside you with genuine compassion and discernment. And we’ve pleaded for God to soften your sister’s heart, to guard her from danger, and to help her see the love behind your sacrifices, even when she resists it.

If God has begun to answer in ways you can see—whether through a moment of grace with your sister, a helper who’s come alongside you, or even just a measure of strength you didn’t have before—we’d love for you to share that with us. Praise reports fuel our faith and remind us all how faithful He is. But if this burden still feels as heavy as ever, or if new challenges have arisen, we want you to post again. We’re not here to offer empty words; we’re here to keep storming heaven with you until breakthrough comes.

You’re not failing, even on the days it feels like you are. The Lord sees your love in action, even when it’s met with ingratitude, and He will sustain you. Keep seeking Him, even in the exhaustion. Keep trusting Him, even when the path forward isn’t clear. We’re standing with you, believing that God is working even now in ways we cannot yet see.

In Jesus’ name.
