Word Spreads Fast, is Received 2 Thes 3:1-3, Spoken Prayed Written Sang Eph 5:19. Keep Close Eye on Our Life & Teaching: Save Self, Others 1 Tim 4:16

Beloved of All
🙇🏻 "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-2,3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives, in the church and the world -- Deut8:3, Job23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers & readers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Matt 28:19,20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.

🙏 May it promote the goal of our instruction: LOVE pouring out of a Cleansed Heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit, Lk 24:48-49, Acts 1:8, to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, Rom 1:16-17, Rom 10:17, repentance from works that lead to death and live in light of a Coming Day of Judgement, Heb 6:1-2. Give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.

🧎🏻We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-18,19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.

🙇🏻 We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3. Put aside other notions except that of which prophecy is: "The Testimony of Jesus is The Holy Spirit of Prophecy," Rev 19:10, that it is the Sword of The Spirit, The Word of God, Heb 4:12, the Spirit of Our Father speaking through us, Matt 10:20, The Holy Spirit, Mk 13:11, Lk 12:12, The Advocate, Comforter and Helper, John 14:26. May we find joy in knowing others will fellowship with us, The Father, The Son, 1 Jn 1:3-4, The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, and each other, 1 Jn 1:7, from the True Gospel proclaimed by Christ Our Savior and Lord, committed to His Apostles, Matt 28:18-20, Lk 24:46-47, Acts 1:8, Tit 1:4, Heb 2:3-4, Jude 1:3. Thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14.

We stand together in agreement with this powerful and biblically grounded prayer, lifting it before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith and expectation. The Word of God is indeed living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and we declare that it will not return void but accomplish what He pleases (Isaiah 55:11). Father, we thank You for the privilege of being vessels through which Your Word spreads rapidly, taking root in hearts and transforming lives for Your glory.

We pray that the Word would be honored, cherished, and prioritized in our lives, in the church, and across the nations. May it be spoken, prayed, written, and sung with reverence and power, as Ephesians 5:19 instructs us to address one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Let it be the foundation of our instruction, producing love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). We ask for the Holy Spirit’s empowerment to walk worthy of our calling (Colossians 1:10), paying close attention to our lives and doctrine so that we may save both ourselves and our hearers (1 Timothy 4:16).

Lord, we pray for the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the earth, that disciples would be made in every nation through baptism and teaching obedience to Your Word (Matthew 28:19-20). May the message of salvation in Jesus Christ alone be proclaimed with boldness, authority, and clarity, leading to true repentance and faith. We rebuke the schemes of the evil one who seeks to distort, silence, or water down the Gospel. We declare that no weapon formed against Your Word shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the truth that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

We earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, as 1 Corinthians 14:1 instructs, that the church may be edified, comforted, and exhorted. Let the testimony of Jesus, the very Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10), flow through us as Your Spirit speaks, guides, and reveals what is to come (John 16:13). May the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) be evident in our lives, confirming the Word with signs, wonders, and transformed hearts.

Father, we pray for conversions that endure until the end, names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27), souls won through the wisdom of Your Word (Proverbs 11:30). Let our lives be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2-3), reflecting the love, truth, and power of Christ. May our joy be found in seeing souls saved and the kingdom of God advanced, just as heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7).

We ask for divine wisdom and discernment in all we say and do, that our words would be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6) and our actions aligned with Your will. Protect us from false teachings, ungodly influences, and the deception of the enemy. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is faithful and will establish and guard us from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

We thank You for the promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). We seal this prayer with the authority of Christ, trusting that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in Him (2 Corinthians 1:20). May the Word of the Lord run swiftly and be glorified, even as it was among the Thessalonians (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and may the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Praying in agreement, standing with you on these Powerful Scriptures, may His Power be seen, may He receive glory in Jesus Name Amen.

We hear beneath these many Scripture-saturated petitions a deep, sincere ache: that God’s Word would really run, that lives would be genuinely changed, and that you would not miss what the Spirit is doing in your own soul along the way. That kind of vigilance over life and teaching is good, and heavy.

One thing that often helps when we’re praying this earnestly for outward fruit is stepping back and remembering that soul-shaping is slow work. We sometimes treat spiritual growth like a sprint we can just try harder at, when in reality it’s much closer to marathon training, small, consistent, often unglamorous habits that build something lasting over a lifetime. God is faithful to establish and guard you, but His way is usually more gradual than dramatic.

Given how many needs you’ve named, you may find it steadying to anchor all this prayer in one or two concrete, small next steps rather than trying to carry everything at once. For instance, you could invite one trusted, mature friend to pray regularly through these very themes with you, not to give you advice, but simply to keep you from carrying the burden alone and to help you pay careful attention to your own soul while you labor for others. Even the apostle Paul relied on companions, and that shared watchfulness often keeps us grounded when the work feels urgent.

Father, thank You for stirring such a passionate desire for Your Word to spread and be glorified. Keep this one’s own heart soft and teachable, even as they pour out prayer for others. Protect them from weariness and from the lie that their worth is measured by visible results. Teach them what it means to walk with You in the ordinary, day-by-day rhythms that train a soul for lasting fruit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Consider well what it is you are asking, for you have piled Scripture upon Scripture, which is a good practice, but take heed lest you trust in the multiplication of words or in the mechanics of method. The sum of your request is that the Word may have free course and be glorified, and that souls may be saved. This is well, for salvation is of the Lord, and it is a work which He alone can do. You ask for the power of the Holy Spirit, and that is the very point upon which all effectual ministry hangs. The call that saves is not the mere voice of the preacher; it is a personal and effectual calling, where Christ speaks through the Word and the dead hear His voice and live. Life from the dead is in that Word; it is immortality breathed into the soul. When Christ effectually calls a man, He says, as to Zaccheus, "Make haste and come down," and the sinner descends from his proud tree with joy. That call is humbling, requiring a man to come down from his own notions of goodness and ability. It is also effectual, for it produces fruit, an open heart, a cleansed conscience, a generous hand, and a joyful soul. This is the work you must look for; nothing less will do.

Be vigilant, however, that your zeal for the inner life and the work of the Spirit does not become a subtle form of legalism. Salvation by feelings is as unscriptural as salvation by works. The new life runs instinctively to grace and lives by faith alone. We are saved by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves. The only power that is effectual for the highest design of preaching is not in your word, nor in your gifts, nor in your earnest desires, but in the Word of God itself. It is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. When souls are truly converted, do they not almost always point to some text of Scripture that was quickened to their hearts? The Word is the sword of the Spirit; it cuts, it pierces, it discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. Lay hold of this truth: the more of the true sense of the Word of God you can press into your speech, the more likely shall you be to see the Lord's arm revealed. Preach the Word; be instant in season and out of season. Prophecy, in its truest New Testament sense, is the testimony of Jesus, it is declaring what God has spoken, for no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. You desire to edify, comfort, and exhort. Then let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, and speak it forth with boldness.

There is only one door of salvation, and that is Christ Himself. Some trust in baptism, others in their own works, and some even in the gifts you list, but Christ alone is the Door. By Him, if any man enter in, he shall be saved. The way of salvation is simple, and therefore men despise it, but it is the only way: "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth." This look is instantaneous, the lifting of the eye of faith to the uplifted Savior. And this salvation is secure, for it is God's salvation. The ultimate perfection of it is His work, and He will guard you from the evil one and establish you. The sheep shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of His hand. This is the wine and milk, bought without money and without price. Whosoever believeth in Him who died upon the tree and groaned away His life for sinners shall never come into condemnation.

Therefore, keep a close eye on your own life and doctrine, not with a morbid introspection that leads to despair, but with a humble dependence upon the grace that first called you. A life regulated by the command and presence of God is a separated life, a life of walking in the unseen. Let your joy be found in the biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, for he who wins souls is wise. The wisdom for this work is freely given by the Teacher, the Holy Spirit, who reminds you of all that Christ has said. Do not fret over the presence of unreasonable and wicked men; the Lord is faithful. The salvation of a sinner is a matter of divine necessity, a covenant fulfillment surer than the promise that the rain shall no more drown the world. God's Word is more than a match for man's sin, and God will yet be master over all the earth. Rejoice not primarily that the spirits are subject unto you, but rather rejoice that your names are written in heaven. For it is a complete salvation, a free salvation, and a joyful salvation, and all who trust in Him shall never be put to shame.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The multitude of scriptures you have woven together shows a mind steeped in the divine oracles. This is good. But take care that your zeal for the rapid spread of the word does not obscure the manner in which the Lord commonly works. The kingdom is like a mustard seed: it begins small and hidden, and though much of the sown seed appears lost, what takes root grows beyond all expectation. So be not discouraged when the word is not immediately glorified, or when wicked men oppose. Not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful; He will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

You ask for signs and power and authority. Yet consider how the Lord often rebuked those who sought signs before faith. Miracles are for the unbelieving and the grosser sort. For the faithful, the teaching itself is the true food. Paul sent Timothy not with eloquent wisdom but to remind the churches of his ways in Christ, which were proven by the power of the Spirit. The greatest confirmation of the gospel is a life transformed, a living epistle known and read by all. Keep a close eye on yourself and on the teaching; persist in these, for in doing so you will save both yourself and your hearers. A cleansed heart, a good conscience, a sincere faith that works through love, this is the goal of our instruction.

Do not think that suffering or chains for the gospel are a matter of shame. Paul said, "I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to guard the deposit entrusted to me against that day." That deposit is the faith, the preaching of the gospel. God will preserve it unimpaired, and you too if you hold it in a pure heart. Suffer anything, so long as this treasure is not despoiled.

Desire earnestly to edify, comfort, and exhort the church, for prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, and the Spirit speaks through the Word to build up the body. But remember that the wisdom which wins souls is from above: pure, peaceable, gentle. The joy in heaven over one sinner who repents surpasses all outward demonstrations. Seek that fellowship with the Father and the Son through the Spirit, and you will find your joy full.

Pay attention to the ordinary means the apostle himself employed. In prison, facing death, he did not ask for miracles but for his cloak and, above all, the books and parchments. He continued to study and to teach, depositing the truth in faithful men. So devote yourself to the reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. The Spirit brings to remembrance what Christ has said and leads into all truth, but He does so through the word you have stored up.

Finally, let your prayer be not only for the external spread of the message but for its internal rooting. The generation of the faithful shall never pass away, though the world be shaken. The word endures forever. Preach it with boldness, not being ashamed, knowing that whatever trial comes, the Lord stands by you and strengthens you. Continue to pursue love, and may the Lord cause the word to run swiftly, giving the increase in His own time, to the glory of His name. Amen.
