Please pray that God would set me free from a group of witches who have been destroying and wasting my life in Jesus’ name.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all powers of darkness. The Bible is clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord, and those who practice it are in direct opposition to His will. "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). These forces have no power over those who belong to Christ, for "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB).

We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The witches and their works are under the judgment of God, and their schemes will not prevail against you. "The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways" (Deuteronomy 28:7 WEB). We declare that every curse, hex, or spell sent your way is broken by the blood of Jesus and the power of His resurrection. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB).

We pray that the Lord would surround you with His holy angels to guard and protect you from every evil influence. May He expose and dismantle every demonic stronghold in your life, bringing complete freedom and restoration. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7 WEB). We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill you with His peace, strength, and discernment, so you may walk in the fullness of God’s purposes for your life.

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved. We thank You that Your Son has disarmed the principalities and powers of darkness and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15 WEB). We stand on Your promise that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). Break every chain of witchcraft over this dear one’s life, and let Your light shine into every area of darkness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and testify to Your goodness. We ask that You would bring these witches to repentance or render their works powerless, for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Renounce any involvement with witchcraft or occult practices, even if it was unintentional, and submit every area of your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Seek fellowship with believers who can pray with you and support you in your walk with God. Remember, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). You are not alone in this battle, God is with you, and we stand with you in prayer.

We hear the ache and urgency behind your words, and we don’t take it lightly. Living with a persistent sense of being targeted, whether through spiritual opposition, fear, or simply the heavy weight of feeling your life is being wasted, is exhausting. We want you to know that you are not alone in this. Even when it feels like the battle is unseen and relentless, Christ’s hold on you remains steady, and His victory over every dark power is already secure.

Something that often helps when the sense of attack is this personal is to bring it out of the shadows and into the light with a trusted, mature Christian who can pray with you face-to-face. A pastor, an elder, or a prayer team in a Bible-believing church can stand with you, ask the Holy Spirit for discernment, and walk alongside you through a season of focused prayer and renunciation of anything that may have opened a door to fear. You don’t have to sort through this alone, and there is wisdom in having other believers surround you with prayer and grounded counsel.

As you take that step, try not to fix your attention on the source of your fear but on the One who has already overcome it. Quietly speaking the name of Jesus into the moments of dread can be a simple, powerful way to anchor your heart in His authority. We’re not minimizing what you’re experiencing, spiritual oppression is real, but we’re reminding you that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, you see the turmoil in this person’s life and the fear that clings so tightly. We ask you right now to quiet their heart with your peace that passes understanding. Surround them with your protection, and break any assignment of the enemy that seeks to destroy and waste their days. Give them the courage to reach out for prayerful support and the faith to rest in your finished work on the cross. Lead them into real freedom, not just relief from fear, but a deep, abiding confidence that they are safe in you. We trust you to be their refuge, their deliverer, and their hope. In your mighty name, Amen.

The arrows of the malicious are not to be compared with the arrows of the Lord's deliverance. When the Almighty takes up His bow, He shoots not at random, but His shafts strike the very heart of our oppressions, laying every enemy low. You speak of witches who have wasted your life, but consider this: the power of any creature, whether seen or unseen, is but a shadow before the face of the Most High. Our true bondage is always spiritual, the bondage of sin, the bondage of the flesh, the bondage of fear, and from this captivity Christ alone can set us free. Egypt may well represent the house of sorrow and oppression, but when the Lord brings forth His people, He does so with a high hand and an outstretched arm. No Pharaoh, no sorcerer, no principality of darkness can hold those whom the Son has made free indeed. The ransom has been found, not by human wit, but by Divine Love; the blood of the Lamb has broken every chain, and where the blood is applied, the destroyer cannot enter.

You ask for liberty, and it is a request near to the Father's heart. Yet true deliverance is not a mere escape from temporal affliction, but a breaking of the power of sin and a release from the spirit of bondage that leads again to fear. The Holy Spirit first convicts of sin, bringing a right and proper bondage to the law, but He does not leave us there. We have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father." If you are in Christ, the enemy has no claim; the strong man armed has been overcome by a stronger than he. The only way to be rid of an evil power is to be filled with a good one. Walk, then, in the conscious, God-given freedom of a child of the King. Let not your heart be troubled by those who boast in darkness; their devices are impotent against the citizen of Zion who hides in the secret place of the Most High.

As for your own conduct in this trial, let it be a shout of praise. When the Lord delivered Israel, they sang; when Jacob met Esau and found mercy, he testified. If you have been brought out of the pit, do not linger by its edge lamenting the dampness of its walls. Go forth and declare the works of the Lord. The weapon you must use is the arrow of God’s promise, shot by the hand of faith. Every prayer founded upon the covenant is a missile that pierces the darkness. Fear not their enchantments, for there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor divination against Israel. Christ has spoiled principalities and powers, making a show of them openly. Your safety lies not in the absence of conflict, but in the presence of the Victor. He who has delivered you from the guilt of sin will also deliver you from the terror of the night and the arrow that flies by day. Rest in the finished work, and let your soul make her boast in the Lord.

Do not give the enemy more credit than he is due. These wicked persons have no power over a soul that clings to Christ, unless that soul surrenders its freedom. Christ has set you free; stand fast, and do not be entangled again in a yoke of bondage. The fear you feel is the very chain they seek to fasten upon you, for their craft relies on lies and intimidation, not true authority.

Consider this: if you are in Christ, you have been redeemed, ransomed by a price far greater than any spell or malice. The curse they wish upon you falls back upon themselves, for it is written that those who bless you are blessed, and those who curse you are cursed. You are the heir of Abraham's blessing through faith, not a victim of those who practice lawlessness. Their threats are a hollow bluff. The true freedom is found not in changing your external circumstances, but in the disposition of your soul. Virtue is our study, and it bestows a freedom that makes a slave more honorable than a freeman, and a poor man wealthier than the rich.

The remedy is not to tremble before shadows, but to scorn them by the power of the Cross. Let them rage; they can only destroy the body, which is already perishing. Stand fast in the liberty of the gospel. Make virtue your diligent pursuit, fill your mind with the divine promises, and let the sign of your freedom be a tranquil contempt for their malice. They cannot touch one who is hidden in the wounds of Christ.

You are describing a life being wasted and destroyed, and that is exactly what forces of darkness aim to do. The intent behind that kind of oppression is never simply harassment; it is ruin. The broad path that many walk leads to destruction, and what you are experiencing is the bitter fruit of that collision. It is not just a battle you are losing here and there; it is an attack on your very life and purpose. But you have already invoked the name that is above every name, and that name is your anchor.

The deeper issue is not merely a group of people practicing evil against you. It is the nature of the life we were born into, a life lived on a plane that is empty and frustrating when it is disconnected from God. Trying to find meaning or safety while trapped in that realm is a vain pursuit, a shadow. A life dominated by the flesh, whether it is the flesh of others raging against you or your own fears, always leads to despair and a sense of worthlessness. The animal plane, the life lived solely in this physical and carnal realm, looks for reason and finds a demolition derby guided by a destroyer. That is not the freedom you were made for.

Real freedom is something only a child of God knows. And this freedom is not a constant, chaotic struggle against external enemies. It is the deep, settled liberty of not having to be ruled by the tyranny of sin, fear, or the power of darkness. When you are born again by the Spirit of God, you receive an entirely new life, a spiritual life where your spirit is joined with God’s Spirit. In that new life, sin does not have dominion over you any more. You can look at the destruction aimed at you and declare that the old life, which was vulnerable and ruled by those forces, is dead. That bitterness, that terror, those flare-ups of panic, those belong to the old life, and you can reckon them to be dead.

You have a choice of what instrument your life will be. Satan can use a life to destroy, filling it with hatred and chaos. God can use that same life as an instrument of His glory, filling it with love, peace, and long-suffering. The freedom you are asking for is found in yielding your body and your entire life to God, not just as a refugee seeking shelter, but as a vessel that brings forth the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of a righteous life is good and sweet; it has its rewards. To live a life pleasing to Him, honoring to Him, is to walk out of the empty shadow existence and into an overflowing cup of fulfillment.

Do not give the darkness more credit than it is due. Its purpose is destruction, but Jesus Christ has redeemed you from that old life of death, misery, and indulgence. That old, flesh-governed life was buried with Christ in baptism, and you are called to walk in newness of life right now. The real issue is ensuring your life is hidden in the Son. This is the record: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life. Stand on that reality. Turn your focus from the consuming dread of what these people can do and set it squarely on the Lord who has already broken their power. Let all bondage go, and let His deliverance flow.
