We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and any form of divination is detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the powers of darkness.
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can stand against the schemes of the enemy. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we urge you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of any known sin, and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit. This is the first and most crucial step in breaking any curse or spiritual bondage.
We rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and every curse that has been spoken over your life in the mighty name of Jesus. Galatians 3:13 reminds us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Through His sacrifice, Jesus has already broken every curse. We declare that the box and its contents hold no power over you, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).
We pray that the box and all its contents be destroyed by fire, as Acts 19:19 tells us, "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all." Let this act be a physical manifestation of the spiritual truth that all curses and spells are rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. We command every evil assignment against you to be dismantled and every word curse to be silenced. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," and we declare that only the life-giving words of God will prevail over your life.
We pray for a hedge of protection to surround you, as Job 1:10 describes, "Haven’t you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side?" Let no weapon formed against you prosper, for Isaiah 54:17 assures us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." We also pray for a covering of the blood of Jesus over you, shielding you from every attack of the enemy.
Regarding the person who hurt you as a child, we pray that any lingering effects of their words or actions be broken. We declare that you are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). We ask the Lord to heal your heart and fill you with His love, peace, and joy. We also pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate relationships, that you would be surrounded by godly influences and that any ungodly connections would be removed from your life.
For your training, we pray that the Lord would remove every distraction and open doors for you to train in peace and consistency. We declare that you will train in silence, just you and the Lord, as 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 encourages, "Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win. Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible." Let your focus be on Him alone, and may He strengthen you and establish you in every good work.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory we have in Christ and the authority He has given us over all the power of the enemy. We declare that [this individual] is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no curse, spell, or weapon formed against them will prosper. We ask You to break every chain of witchcraft and every word curse spoken over their life. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every remnant of darkness, and let Your light shine brightly in their life.
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no evil may come near their dwelling. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Heal the wounds of their past and fill them with Your love and joy. Remove every distraction and ungodly influence from their life, and help them to train in consistency and discipline, with their eyes fixed on You.
We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus' name. May they walk in the freedom and purpose You have for them, and may Your name be glorified in their life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
