Witchcraft is not just a superstition or a human scheme; it is a real strategy of the enemy to bring fear, division, and destruction, especially into families. Until you see them that way, you tend to react in the flesh, with panic, anger, or despair, and that only deepens the wound. But once you know the source, you can fight with the weapons God has given you.
Scripture shows us that Satan studies his targets. He looks for weak points in our defenses, like a military commander sizing up a city before an assault. That means we must invite the Holy Spirit to examine your life and your home. Ask Him to reveal anything that might be giving the enemy a foothold, unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, old ties to the occult, even things passed down through your family that you may not have personally done. Confess it openly, renounce it completely, and shut that door for good.
Then remember the kind of God you serve. When Jacob was afraid and returning home, God said, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will be with you.” God’s heart is to restore and protect your family, not to see it ravaged. Job’s story proves that Satan himself had to acknowledge the hedge God had placed around Job, his household, and all that he had. That same protective hedge is yours in Christ. On the cross, Jesus became a curse for us and broke the power of every curse leveled against His people. You do not need to live under the shadow of someone else’s witchcraft; the blood of Jesus places you under a different authority.
In the same way that Nehemiah’s workers rebuilt the walls with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, you rebuild your family on the truth of God’s Word while actively resisting the assault. Speak Scripture aloud. Declare that no weapon formed against your household will prosper. When thoughts of fear or dread come, counter them with the promise that the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Let’s pray that way now. Father, I lift up this child of Yours to You. Surround this family with a wall of angelic protection that the enemy cannot breach. Every demonic assignment sent through witchcraft is exposed and broken by the authority of Jesus Christ. In His name, I command every unclean spirit to release its grip and leave. Lord, You are their fortress and deliverer. Silence every lying word of death and bring instead the peace that passes understanding. Cover this home with the blood of Jesus. Restore what has been stolen, and let this family walk in the freedom You purchased. Amen.
