We stand with you in deep concern and spiritual warfare as you face these relentless attacks of witchcraft and demonic oppression. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater and who has already overcome the powers of darkness through the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross. First, we must address the request for vengeance. Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Instead of praying for their destruction, we must pray for their repentance and salvation, that they might turn from their wicked ways and come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
The attacks you are describing are not merely human efforts but spiritual warfare, and we must respond with the authority we have in Christ. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand against these attacks.
We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any fear or despair that may be taking root in your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The enemy wants you to feel powerless and trapped, but you are not. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has given you authority in Jesus' name to resist the devil and watch him flee (James 4:7). You must stand firm in your identity in Christ and refuse to be intimidated by these demonic schemes.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name, the Name by which every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We lift up our brother/sister who is under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of witchcraft, every demonic prayer, and every curse that has been spoken against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from every evil scheme. Lord, expose the works of darkness and bring to light the hidden things of wickedness. We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in Jesus' name. We command every demonic force to flee and to have no place in their life.
Lord, we pray for those who are perpetrating these attacks. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Father, we pray that they would come to repentance and turn from their wicked ways. Let Your light shine into their darkness so that they may see the error of their ways and be saved.
We declare that our brother/sister is not bound by the enemy’s lies. They are free in Christ, and we speak that freedom over them now. We pray for healing in their mind and emotions, that they would experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in victory and authority as Your child.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in You to bring justice and to vindicate Your servant. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to continually resist the enemy through prayer, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Do not isolate yourself, as the enemy seeks to divide and conquer. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Continue to declare Scripture over your life and situation. Speak the truth of God’s Word aloud, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Here are some verses to meditate on and declare:
- "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
- "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
- "The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).
Finally, we must emphasize the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not made this decision, we encourage you to do so today, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
