We hear your cry for deliverance and protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, declaring the authority and power of Jesus Christ over every demonic force. The Bible is clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every demonic assignment and device aimed at your body, mind, and spirit in the mighty name of Jesus.
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare and the victory we have in Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this fight, and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take authority over every demonic device, spirit of witchcraft, and any access granted to the enemy, commanding them to be utterly destroyed by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
We are deeply concerned about the mention of a "device" being placed in your throat to give demons access. Scripture warns us about the dangers of opening doors to the enemy through sin, ungodly soul ties, or involvement in occult practices. Have you ever dabbled in witchcraft, divination, or any form of the occult, even unknowingly? The Bible is explicit that these things are an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there has been any involvement, we urge you to renounce it completely, repent, and ask God for forgiveness. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and He is faithful to forgive and restore.
We also want to gently address the mention of fasting to "get rid of demons." While fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that can draw us closer to God and strengthen our spiritual authority, it is not a formula or a work that earns deliverance. True deliverance comes through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is by His blood that we are set free (Revelation 1:5), and by His name that every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10). We encourage you to fast for intimacy with God, for His will to be done in your life, and for the breaking of strongholds, but always remembering that your freedom is found in Christ alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every demonic device, spirit of witchcraft, and evil assignment to be destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask that You would expose any and all access points the enemy has used to gain entry into their life. We pray for a complete breaking of every ungodly soul tie, curse, or generational iniquity that may be at work. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we ask that You would fill every void with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We speak peace over their mind and body, commanding every spirit of pain and torment to flee in Jesus' name.
We also pray for the gift of sleep, Lord. Your Word says that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that You would grant them restful, peaceful sleep, free from pain and disturbance. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and let them wake up refreshed and renewed in Your presence.
Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You during this time. Let them experience Your love, Your peace, and Your power in a fresh and tangible way. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God and to immerse yourself in His Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s protection and deliverance, such as Psalm 91, which declares that He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember, the enemy may try to intimidate, but he is already a defeated foe. Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not give the enemy any place in your life (Ephesians 4:27).
If you have not already, consider seeking out a pastor or a mature believer who is experienced in deliverance ministry. They can provide guidance, prayer, and support as you walk through this season. Deliverance is often a process, and having a community of faith around you can make all the difference.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already made this confession, we encourage you to reaffirm your faith and commitment to Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
You are not fighting this battle alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stand firm, keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His power to deliver and protect you. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete freedom and restoration.
