We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, believing that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any darkness. The Bible is clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord, and we must take a firm stand against it in the name of Jesus. "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim" (1 Samuel 15:23 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).
First, we must address the spiritual authority you have in Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to repent of any sin in your life, including any involvement with or tolerance of occult practices, and fully surrender your home and life to Jesus. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). Jesus’ name is the only name by which we have access to the Father, and it is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB). There is no salvation, no deliverance, and no victory apart from Him. If you have not confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we pray that you would do so now, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We renounce any and all ties to witchcraft, occult practices, or any form of darkness in this home. We declare that this home belongs to You, Lord, and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We bind every spirit of witchcraft, every demonic influence, and every evil presence operating in this home in the name of Jesus. We command them to leave now and go where Jesus sends them, never to return.
Lord, we ask that You cleanse this home with the blood of Jesus. Let Your holy fire purify every room, every corner, and every space. Fill this home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your light. We plead the blood of Jesus over the doorposts, the windows, and every entryway, declaring that no evil can enter here. We cancel every curse, every hex, and every assignment of the enemy against this home and its inhabitants. We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus and that the enemy has no legal right here.
Father, we pray for the salvation and deliverance of anyone involved in these practices. If this person whose name starts with "F" is operating in witchcraft, we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their heart, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the fullness of life found only in You. If they refuse to repent, we ask that You remove them from this home and break their influence completely.
We also pray for the one who has submitted this request. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). Give them boldness to stand firm in their faith and to walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God. Surround them with godly believers who can support and encourage them in this battle.
We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work. We trust in Your power to deliver and restore. May this home be a place of worship, peace, and Your presence. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to take practical steps as well. Begin by dedicating your home to the Lord. Walk through each room, praying and declaring Scripture aloud. Play worship music, read the Bible, and invite trusted, mature believers to pray with you. If there are any objects in your home connected to witchcraft or the occult, books, symbols, charms, or anything else, remove and destroy them. "Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry; for which things’ sake the wrath of God is coming on the children of disobedience" (Colossians 3:5-6 WEB).
Do not engage in conversation or argument with this person if they are unrepentant. Instead, speak the truth in love and let the Holy Spirit do the convicting. If they are living in your home, set clear boundaries and seek godly counsel on how to proceed, especially if they are a family member. Remember, "Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals" (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB).
Finally, immerse yourself in God’s Word and in prayer. The enemy will try to bring fear, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). Stand firm on the promises of God, and do not waver. You are not fighting this battle alone, Jesus is with you, and He has already won the victory. "These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 WEB).
