We are truly concerned for you and we take your request seriously. First, we want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 So, let’s approach this challenge with this in mind. We want to understand the context of your challenge. The Bible speaks about witchcraft and sorcery and condemns it. Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. Many will find offense in calling witchcraft evil. However, as counselors, we must be explicit and sound a warning. Do not be involved in any type of witchcraft or sorcery. Even seeking advice or help from these sources is evil. Therefore, we first want to ask how you know this person and their family are attacking you with witchcraft? Have you been diagnosed with some kind of medical problem that feels like a needle in your uterus or sex organs? Have you contacted a doctor regarding this? Or have you gone to a witch or sorcerer to diagnose your problem? If so, then this is your first problem. Seek medical help if you have a real physical problem. If this is a spiritual problem, then seek counseling from a good Christian counselor who understands spiritual warfare. To address the spiritual issue involved, let’s pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is under spiritual attack. We stand on your Word that says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper" Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke any evil forces at work in her life and cancel every assignment of the enemy against her. We claim the blood of Jesus over her, believing that any tormenting spirits must flee at the sound of Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for her physical health. If there is a medical condition, guide her to the right doctors and treatments. Give her peace and healing in her body. We ask for your divine protection over her life, her home, and her loved ones. Surround her with your angels and fill her with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7.
Father, we also pray for the person and their family who are involved in these evil practices. We pray that they may come to know the truth of the gospel and be set free from the bondage of the enemy. Acts 26:18.
Lord, guide our sister in the path of righteousness and help her to walk in your light. Give her the strength to resist the devil and watch him flee from her. James 4:7.
Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your love for us. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Lastly, we urge you to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11. Stay strong in your faith and seek the Lord’s will in all things. If you do not know the Lord Jesus in the free pardon of sins, we strongly encourage you to read and understand John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Do not only read this verse. Understand that there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
