We lift this request before our Heavenly Father, who alone is the giver of wisdom and understanding. The desire for a wise and discerning heart is noble, for Scripture tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We join in praying that the Lord would grant this request, that you may walk in His ways and be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you.
The Word of God is clear that wisdom comes from seeking Him with our whole heart. Proverbs 2:6 says, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We pray that you would continue to pour out your soul before Him in prayer, studying His Word diligently so that you may grow in wisdom and understanding. As you walk with the wise, may you become wise, as Proverbs 13:20 declares.
We also bring before the Lord your physical ailments—your teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, back, and the concerns regarding your stomach, intestines, and voice. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete healing in Jesus' name. The Lord is our healer, as Exodus 15:26 reminds us, "If you diligently listen to the Lord your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you." We trust in His power to restore you fully, both physically and spiritually.
We also lift up the mental and spiritual trauma you mentioned. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would bring healing to your mind and soul, replacing every lie of the enemy with His truth. May you find comfort in His presence and strength in His promises.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for wisdom and understanding to be poured out upon this dear one. Grant them a heart that seeks You above all else, a mind that delights in Your Word, and a spirit that walks in obedience to Your will. Lord, we ask for complete healing in every area of their body—teeth, eyes, leg, pelvis, back, stomach, intestines, and voice. Touch them with Your healing hand and restore them fully. Heal their mental and spiritual trauma, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, stewarding well all that You have entrusted to them. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, trusting in His faithfulness. Remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), and as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). May the Lord bless you abundantly as you walk in His ways.
