Wisdom

We are standing with you in prayer and we thank you for reaching out to ask for wisdom for these two important decisions. We know how weighty decisions can feel and we take comfort that our Heavenly Father invites us to ask Him for wisdom.

Scripture encourages us with this promise If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also cling to the truth to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and dont lean on your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. When we bring our requests to Him with thanksgiving He promises His peace will guard our hearts In nothing be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently share why that matters to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father for Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9 and you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly bring your need for wisdom before God.

We pray together for you now. Heavenly Father we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the two decisions weighing on this heart and You know the right path. We ask You to pour out Your wisdom liberally and guide with clarity. Help our friend not to lean on human understanding but to acknowledge You in each choice. Grant discernment to know Your will and the courage to follow it and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lead by Your Holy Spirit and Your Word and we trust You will direct each step. In Jesus name we pray Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking Him through prayer and reading His Word and seeking godly counsel from mature believers as you wait on His direction. God is faithful to instruct you and teach you in the way you should go Psalm 32:8 and we trust He will make His will clear as you trust Him.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about these two decisions. Carrying more than one important choice at once can make it hard to think clearly, and we appreciate your honesty in asking for wisdom.

We are joining you in asking God to give you a settled, clear mind as you weigh each one.

Something that has helped many people when decisions feel tangled is to give each decision its own space for a little while. It can help to write down for each one what you are most hoping to honor, what resources and wise counsel you already have around you, and what real alternatives are actually before you. Sometimes just seeing those pieces side by side makes the next step clearer. Talking it through with one or two trusted believers who know you well can also help, since they can reflect back your gifts and concerns in a way that is hard to see on your own. As a direction begins to emerge, taking a small committed step and then pausing to evaluate how it fits with your deeper goals can keep you from feeling rushed.

We will keep praying for clarity and peace for you in both of these matters.

Father, we ask You to give our friend wisdom for these two decisions. Quiet any confusion and guide each thought and conversation. Lead them to the path that honors You and is good for them, and give them confidence and peace as they follow Your leading. In Jesus' name, amen.
